Face to Face (Sugi x Ino)
Chapter 4
Never would anyone thought that things would turn out like this...never...
In a quite bar, a tall handsome bassist is drowning down his 6th glass of whisky. Somehow the liquor is not really working tonight, the more he drinks, the more sober he seems, the pain in the morning seems never-ending...never-ending...
All these years Ino have treated him only like a brother, a buddy and he knows that. But somehow he just couldn't stop loving him. To him Ino is like a fragile butterfly, yet strong in his own ways. Quite vocally but his eyes speaks volumes. No matter what or how Ino feels about him, nothing could stop him from loving his butterfly...his beautiful butterfly.
Image after image...memories after memories of the good old days flooded J's head.
Just as J was drowning himself in the past, an intruder came...a prince in someone else's eyes...
Sugi sat down beside J and order a gin tonic. Slowly he slips his drinks and awaits for the intoxication to overtake his body.
"Gome ne..."
"Dajyobu..."
"Demo..."
"It's the truth anyway...what more can I say...in fact...he is happy with you and that kind of happiness, I can never give him."
"Still friends?"
"Onlt if you swear...swear that you will never let him shed a single tear...never..."
"That you have my promise!"
Sugi finish the rest of the poison and left to find his princess, who is waiting patiently in the white Mercedes outside.
"How is he?"
"Don't worry...he is going to be alright"
Taking Sugi's hand, Ino place it on his flawless face...
"Arigato ne...arigato"
The white Mercedes blazed off the lonely road, leaving the bassist behind.
As J walks slowly out of the bar, suddenly someone stopped him in his tracks and speaking with his soft smooth voice, his words flow out like honey.
"Going somewhere?"
"Ryu? What are you doing here?"
"Nothing...I thought you might needed company"
"You?"
"Yrp...me"
Taking J by the hand, Ryu gently lead the drunken bassist to his own car.
"Come on, let's get you home!"
As dawn slowly approaches, both Ino & Ryu lay in the arms of their love and wait for another day to arrive...
