Now may the debate continue.....
What has Galadriel got in her favour?
Well.....one of the bloody rings to start off with. No small matter, she can turn you into a toad faster than the siren's in 'Oh brother, where art thou!'.
She lives in a forest. Not a strong argument.
But she probably does 'natural' drugs. So that makes her cool and hip.
Yet....she is old. All Elves are old and pansy. And she's blonde.
On the babe scale of 1 to 10, 1 being Ann Widdecome (read British politics, but believe me you'd rather see Medusa) and 10 being Drool Barrymore....galadriel comes in a weighty 7.5. If in the films she wears Jane like forestry rags, she gets a point added for style.
And what about Arwen?
She's 3000 years old. Now, young Aragorn might fancy older women, but this is pushing the limits.
She's being played by Taylor. If that's not a + point, I don't know what is.
Stale out of Rivendale, she's bound for greater parts in film than in novel. Is this a good thing? I've seen Taylor act in video clips....I'm doubting her abilities. But then again, if she wears leather and shiney metal armour, accenturated in all the right places....I may well forgive anything she does.....
On the babe scale of 1 to 10....she's a hot 9. Her acting could drag her down to a 6 though.....The bets are on!
And finally: Eowyn
The lady white! Tall, graceful and looks like a man when in armor.
The truth be told, she is a bit of a liability. Unstable......falls in love all over the place.....
Human!!! Which means she'll probably die before a next ice-age.
Yet.....she's obviously the easiest shag of the lot. That counts for something! AND.....let's be honest she gets off with faramir who is a much greater character than Strider.
But what have they cast to play her? Do my eyes decieve me or have they opted for some middle-aged slag? This is a devestating blow to Eowyn's chances. (that and the fact her name is murder to blind-type).
I'll give her a 6 out of 10 on the babe scale, with the possibility of going up to an 8, if she does a threesome with some Hobbits somewhere along the line.
