This car was given to me by my friend John "Jack" Garton as payment for rebuilding his 1995 Toyota Pickup. Jack is now in Japan as the Aquatics Director of the US Naval base in Atsugi (I think that's how you spell it). Jack rules.

This should look pretty familiar if you looked at the pics of The Pyle. However, I won't make the same mistake twice. This motor also has a street port, but it will get a 600cfm Edelbrock 4 barrel instead of the stock Nikki carb. Also, since this car is an '83, the oil cooler is mounted just below the oil filter on this model. I plan on switching to the front mount version like on The Pyle... only I don't want the leaks. :)

Pretty. I haven't done a single thing to the outside of this car. It is in very good shape. There are only 2 flaws: Someone shot the passenger side corner glass in the rear and there is a very small rust spot just behind the rear window.

Here was the original wiring harness. It was fried and the previous owner (not Jack) cut it up to try and fix it. The battery hold down broke and the battery grounded to the hood.

This was just behind the firewall under the dash. This harness would never have worked again. The car sat so long in his yard that the engine became carbon locked. I couldn't unlock the engine, so I disassembled it and rebuilt it.
