Hi, and welcome to my site. I have a lot of good materials showing my education at Central Michigan University and my best teaching. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education in December 2007, graduating with a 3.8 G.P.A. I am able to teach elementary education, special education (EI K-12) and early childhood education. My endorsements are SE, ZA, and ZG. Since my major was special education (Teachers of the Emotionally Impaired) and my minor was child development, I was able to student teach in three different settings. Each experience was wonderful and showed me what good teaching looks like. I spent 16 weeks in a resource room at Central Montcalm Upper Elementary (CMUE) in Stanton, MI. The second and third experiences were both in Mount Pleasant, MI. I spent six weeks in first grade at Pullen Elementary and six weeks in kindergarten at Renaissance Public School Academy (a charter school). Please click to learn more about each placement. CMUE Pullen Renaissance I have worked hard to get where I am now and I'm proud of what is on this site. I'm also proud to say that I meet the Entry Level Standards for Michigan Teachers. Please click on each standard to see evidence of my work. Contact me: helmer.amanda at gmail dot com |
