My usual method of shipping is through the US Postal Service unless instructed otherwise. There is no official UPS shipping office within a reasonable distance, and I have found that packages shipped through local UPS agents incur cost-prohibitive additional charges. Small packages shipped to locations inside the USA are usually sent by Priority Mail, larger packages by parcel post. Foreign packages are sent whichever way you prefer, that being air or surface mail.

SPECIAL NOTE TO PEOPLE ORDERING FROM OUTSIDE OF THE USA

If you are interested in buying books, magazines or other flat unbreakable items but are hesitant because of high postal rates due to their weight, be aware that the US Postal Service offers a special "Global Priority Mail" service to many countries. Two sizes of flat rate envelopes are available, the smaller one approximately 15 x 25 cm (6 x 10 inches) and the larger approximately 24 x 31 cm (9.5 x 12.5 inches). If your order of books, magazines, decals or other flat items (no kits, please) will fit into this envelope, I may be able to send it to you at a much lower rate than regular airmail.

If you are paying by PayPal your package will be shipped as quickly as possible. If you are paying by check for the first time, your check must clear before your package is shipped. There is a $25.00 fee for returned checks. With every order, I will notify you by e-mail when your package is shipped. A short message informing me of your package's safe arrival is unnecessary but is always appreciated.

Unfortunately, many people don’t notify me when they decide they no longer want an item I have been holding for them. If you are interested in something on the list, PLEASE confirm your purchase as soon as possible by sending e-mail that payment is on the way, or let me know that you are no longer interested. It is only being courteous to your fellow modelers.

Every item will be checked for availability and completeness (factory sealed items sold as is) before items are shipped. All models are unassembled in open box unless otherwise specified.

TIP: when ordering by e-mail, simply cut and paste the item(s) you want into your reply, making sure to adjust items where multiples are listed to the quantity you want. That way, there will be no confusion.
