| This page will be a journal for my project a 1958 Chevy 1/2 Ton Custom Cab pickup. This project came to me in the form of a divorce, not mines but the previous owners. He used it as a work truck with plans to fix it up. When I bought it, it was in pieces, in pretty bad shape but complete. That's was okay because I was going to do a frame-off rebuild anyway. Because for a running 55-59 Chevy people were asking to much. Plus you could still get a running rust bucket so I decided I'd look for a project. I've always liked the big rear windows Chevy Trucks, I grew up helping my brother with several through the years, as well as classic cars . So a frame off rebuild is no biggy to me. But this will be my first time going it alone . So for a fair price I took it off his hands. I thinking it will be a three year project. And so the journey begins...... |
