| You haven’t changed me, and you won’t. I am always going to be the way that I am. I know that I am always going to live with people who don’t like me for who I am, and who will try to change me. That is something that I have come to accept, so try all you want, it will get you nowhere, and it will get me nowhere. Trying to prove myself to you is done. As far as what you think of me, I could care less. I choose to make my future choices, commitments, and decisions according to my own morals and beliefs, I will not be told to live according to the way another person chooses to live. If it is wrong for me to take control of myself and choose the way that I want to live than may I die where I stand. I choose to do things the way that I do, because I choose to be nothing less than who I am. I have made mistakes in the past, and I live in the aftermath, I have made good choices for myself as well, and I live with the consequences. It is too bad that I am not accepted for being the person that I am. I try to be the best that I can, with everything that I do. I will not be less than myself in order to be accepted. I am not willing to put up with people telling me that I am not supposed to be who I am. I will not run away anymore, and I am here to face whatever you, life, or God chooses to throw at me. |
