Hans Olson Kjonaas's Civil War records are all listed under the name of "Hans Chynous"(We pronounce the name Kjonaas as Chen-us). Years later, Hans had to prove that he was that "Hans Chynous" when he applied for a Civil War Veteran's pension. These are the documents he submitted to prove his true name.
