Camp
Bethany's Sixth grade classes attend Lutheran Memorial Camp, linked below, for "Outdoor Education Week."  In addition to a variety of activities, there is also an emphasis on good stewardship, which means taking care of the Earth's resources.  During the last trip, the students completed an activity which emphasized making responsible choices as a consumer.  The students also took a quiz to see how big their ecological footprint is.  This was an interesting activity which allowed the students to see how they and the United States rank against the rest of the world in wisely using the God-given materials known as natural resources.  Take a walk through several of the links given and enjoy some environmental learning.

Students looking for a camp summer program may wish to start with the LOMO page and see what type of camping activities are offered.
