One beautiful day in Ponyland, Tot & Shining Star decided to go for a long walk threw the woods. As they walked together laughing and smiling they entered an area they had never been to and didn't even know existed. It wasn't even on the map they decided. They were thrilled that they had found an area of Ponyland that nobody had discovered. Just past the entrance to these woonds they noticed a very large oak tree that almost seemed to glitter. They decided to investigate this unique tree further when suddenly a fairy flew in front of them! Nobody had ever mentioned fairies in Ponyland! The fairy sat down and stared at them. They asked why she had dashed out in front of them and she responded that she was curious to know how they had found Fairy Forest and also wanted to know how they liked being Fairy Ponies. They told her how they had stumbled onto Fairy Forest and said that they liked being Fairy Ponies but it got lonely sometimes since there weren't alot of them in Ponyland. She told them that they were very special and asked if they knew how Fairy Ponies had came to be. They shook their heads which she expected, there shouldn't have been many ponies at all in Ponyland that knew their history. She decided to tell them the story of the Fairy Ponies. Long ago Fairy Forest was very much a part of Ponyland but the ponies never knew of the Fairies existance until one day a pony named Angelica was walking by the big glittery oak tree by herself. She noticed a fairy with a broken wing. The fairy had been unable to fly away with Angelica's approach. Angelica stared at her wide-eyed and noticed the fairy's need to be helped. Angelica picked her up and using tree bark, leaves, and roots made the fairy a splint for her wing. While testing her wing the two of them introduced themselves as Angelica and Kira. Kira thanked Angelica and asked that their meeting be kept secret, she also invited Angelica back whenever she liked. The very next day Angelica retured to Fairy Forest and to the large glittery oak tree to meet Kira again. They talked and shared things about themselves. Angelica asked why they were meeting in private and why the ponies didn't know the fairies existed. Kira told her that because they didn't know the ponies they were scared that they ponies may steal the fairy's magic for themselves. Angelica laughed and told her that that would never happen. Everyday Angelica and Kira met by the tree in Fairy Forest and slowly Kira's wing healed. As it did they got closer and closer. One day Angelica went back to Fairy Forest to see her friend when all of the sudden as she approached the entire sky filled with fairies! She never would have thought so many fairies lived here. They were smiling and all found a place to sit. Angelica noticed Kira sitting on a tree stump with a glowing blue orb in her hands. Kira told Angelica that because she had been so nice to her that she wanted to give a gift to all of Ponyland. The orb started glowing even brighter until a small yellow pony with pink hair, a horn, and brightly colored wings appeared. She was very small and simply adorable! The orb stopped glowing and Kira told Angelica that this was a Fairy Pony named NightScape. NightScape it seemed was a cross between a fairy and a pony. The only one in existance. Angelica was to care for Nightscape and Kira assured her that there woudln't be any questions from the other ponies as to where she came from. NightScape was to be the queen of all Fairy Ponies. Angelica took Fairy Forest off the Ponyland Map so the fairys wouldn't be bothered as much. Seldom after that did any ponies besides Angelica go walking threw Fairy Forest. Fairy Ponies were born year after year but were never as abundant as the other types of ponies. The fairy sat back on the stump and continued that Tot and Shining Star were special ponies indeed and that she was happy that they were happy in Ponyland. She also told them that they too had to keep all of this a secret. Tot and Shining Star were both astonished and flattered. When asked why she told them she responded that the fairies wanted more visitors and they knew they could trust a Fairy Pony. They had used the orb earlier that day to draw Tot and Shining Star to Fairy Forest! From that day on they were great friends with the special fairies that gave them their existance.
