Do you have a pet/find a pet that you need to surrender to rescue? Read below to find out how. |

I'm sorry, but at this time, the only foster space I have available is for small dogs, 10 pounds and under. |

Although I am pretty much an all species rescue, I have more foster spaces for small dogs and kittens than anything else. If you want, I can put you on a waiting list, and once I have a space available, yours will be the next animal I take in. DOGS: All my foster spaces are full, except for small dogs, 10 pounds and under. If you would like to be placed on a waiting list, which can be anywhere from a few days, to a few weeks, please let me know, and I can let you know what the anticipated wait would be. At this time, due to limited resources, I cannot take on dogs with serious health problems, and any dog over 6 months old MUST be heartworm tested and started on prevention for me to take it. I simply cannot afford heartworm treatment at this time. Any puppies MUST be up-to-date on shots, and have shot records. If the dog is your pet (not a stray), I request anything of the dogs, collar/leash, toys, blanket, crate, etc. it makes the transition for the dog much easier when there are familiar things around them. I don't require anything but the heartworm test, and shots for puppies (although I definately appreciate it), but if your dog has had any vetting (shots, spay/neuter, check ups, etc.), I request a copy of the record (just ask your vet for another copy), so that I don't have to do vetting on an already vetted dog. CATS: At this time, the only adult cats I am taking in are Bengals. I know the breed well, own one myself, know what kind of home to place them in, and know how horribly they do in shelters. The only vetting I require is that they have a recent FIV/Leuk test, I'm sorry, but I cannot take Aids or Leukemia cats. Everything else for cats is the same as dogs. KITTENS: At this time, I have all the kittens I have room for, but I might have room in a week or two, and then when the ones I have now are old enough to be adopted, I'll have more spaces, if you would like to be placed on a waiting list, please let me know. My only request with kittens is that they have at least one set of shots before I take them (if they're 7 weeks old or older), but don't require it. Other Animals: I do not have room for guinea pigs at this time, but if you have anther species, contact me, and I'll see what I can do, or I can direct you to someone that might be able to help you if I can't. |
