As with any rescue, we are always in need of donations, if you have something you would like to donate, please contact me. Below is a list of things I can think of that I always need, but if you have something else, not on the list, that doesn't mean it wouldn't be useful. Dogs: Dry Food, I try to feed quality food, as most dogs I get come to me in rough shape. The foods that I feed are, Canidae, Innova, California Naturals, and Nutro, all of which can be purchased at Nashville Pet Products, and Nutro can be found at most petstores. Canned Food, I use canned food primarily for giving dewormer, or putting weight on skinny dogs/helping with coats in bad shape. Human canned salmon is what I use for skinny dogs, but any brand is good for dewormer and picky eaters. Crates/Kennels of all sizes. Plastic airline style, wire, or mesh, all are very useful. I get dogs of all sizes, and although most are under 40 pounds, large kennels can be used to the occasional litter of puppies, or to crate two buddies together. Heartworm Prevention, all sizes, any brand. Flea/Tick Prevention, Frontline, Advantage, brands you get at a vet's, not store brands. Collars/Leashes/Harnesses, all colors, all sizes, all styles. I'm in greatest need of leashes, as they tend to get eater, metal link leashes are good for dogs like that, but all kinds are great. Food Bowls, I try to give each dog their own bowl, and send it with them, but it gets expensive. Metal and ceramic are preferred, as they don't get eaten. TOYS, ALL KINDS OF TOYS, I go through toys very quickly, but a lot that come in love rope toys, balls, frisbees, squeaky toys, stuffed animals, kongs, bones, rawhides, greenies, things to keep them occupied are awesome! Kittens: Large, multi-level cages, ferret cages are awesome for keeping younger kittens safe when I'm not home. I can only keep one litter of kittens (no matter the litter size), in each cage, to make sure they don't make each other sick, and individual strays/abandoned kittens have to get their shots and tests before being put together. Dry Kitten Food, as with dogs, I try to feed quality food, my prefences are Felidae, Innova, or Nutro. Milk Replacer, either powder or canned, although the kittens prefer canned, the powder goes farther. This is great not only for very young kittens, but also ones that are underweight/undernourished. Canned Food, all brands are good, canned food is used only supplementally. Litter, any kind of litter is awesome, kittens go through more than you would believe. Flea/Tick Prevention, Advantage, Frontline, and especially Revolution for kittens. Toys, feather toys, cat nip toys, etc.
