| If he wasn't God then why did he claim to be God? "Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM."(John 8:58 NAS) The term "I am" was used when God is Talking to Moses about who he was in the Old Testiment, "And God said to Moses, 'I AM WHO I AM'; and he said, 'Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, I AM has Sent me to you.'" (Exodus 3:14 NAS) And they all said, "Are You the Son of God, then?" And He said to them, "Yes, I am."(Luke 22:70 NAS) He Claims to be the Son of God to the Chief priests and the scribes. "I and the Father are one." (John 10:30) He says that He and God are one. It is something That cannot be comprehended by human minds. He is God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit in one! But, "A three leaf clover is three in one" "It's God!" "Why couldn't He?" He claims to be God, and if he was lying then how could he be a good Man. He would either be a liar or God. You make the choice. Can you be a good Man and a great teacher (like he was) and lie about something that big? |
