I started playing guitar when I was 12. The year was 1981. Even in those early years of my life I was starting bands and writing songs. My first band was called the Bed Bugs. I wanted an insect name because I was a huge Beatles fan and I believe I saw the name used on an F-Troop episode.

During the 80s I played with a few bands from high school. 2 of the most notable were Vice in about 1984 and Foreplay in '87 through '90 with a break for an entire year from late spring of '88 to summer of '89 to play with a band called Sage. Sage was the first band that I was in that played full time. We were booked for 3 to 5 nights a week in Indianapolis for that entire year.
Sage - 1989
In summer of '89 I joined Foreplay again. We released 2 seperate studio recordings during the next year.

I recorded 2 solo tapes in the early '90s. One was called MTM - Chaos and the second was the Peace Patrol release.
Foreplay - 1990
In 1996 I joined an Indianapolis band called Neighorhood Threat. We change the name to Groove Monkey and toured for 4 years opening up for the bands Dokken, Quiet Riot and Jackyl. We realeased a recording in 1997 and a second recording in 1998. Groove Monkey broke up in early 2000.

I played and wrote very little until 2006 when I became a guitar instructor. I began writing songs and just started recording on December 3rd on 2007. I hope to release my recording in the next few weeks on CD.
