He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from this prestigious Technical Institution under The Government of Kerala. The Mechanical Engineering students are most often saluted as  "The Royal Mechanicals" and 1999-2003 batch is known to be one among the best batches, passed out from this institution, both in academic and extra curricular activities. Aerodynamic Design, Composite analysis, Engineering Graphics, Finite Element methods etc are some among his professional interests.
