Stone-faced and aloof as he may be, he isn't gloomy; he talks enthusiastically about matters of interest to him. He possess an expert ability to learn and improve his fighting skills. For his inordinate gift, he has earned an enmity of Seifer, an older student, who regards him ith jelousy. The scar on his forehead resulted from Seifer's gunblade during an intense training session.
He's antisocial. He'll only talk whenever he's told to or whenever he adores to. A perfect SeeD to be exact. He doesn't have many friends because he doesn't want to go contact with other people. Why? Maybe because he's afraid that everybody will go away. His cool, calm exterior disguises the emotional instability that he has on the interior and the only person who was able to make Squall break out of his shell was Rinoa. He has walls around his emotions and is a master at hiding them unless it involves Rinoa.
Squall is one of the two Gunblade users in the entire population of Blalmb Garden. The other is his rival, Seifer Almasy. The Gunblade is a very VERY difficult weapon to master and it takes many years to master such a weapon. Squall becomes the first SeeD to be the only Gunblade wielder.
Renzokuken is only a part of Squall's limit break. There are finishing attacks to his limit break. Those are:
