| Here is what the Ultimate looks like now (9-15-05) after "spinning" in a couple of weeks ago. I was having some fun flat-spinning the plane and after a few attempts of "how low can you go" - I found out. |
| The lower wing was split into three pieces, the horizontal stab split on either side of the fuse, the landing gear was peeled off and the wing's forward mounting point dissappeared. The funny thing is, it looks better AFTER it was crashed! The horizontal stab was rebuilt with 3/16" balsa sheeting and is straight and level for the first time in about a year. |
