This is Step-an, he is a Russian hairless cat {Donskoy}. Stepan came to our home in June, 2001. He was 8 months old. After mold took over our home Oct. 2001, he became ill. Runny eyes, coughs came in Nov. 2002. Bloody stools and red gums started by Feb. 2003. Once removed from mold home only 4 months he was very fat again, his runs stopped and teeth left with little gum redness. Oct. 2003 moved into a new moldy home, unknown. Nov. 2003 eyes, coughs, pimples, runny stools started again. By Jan. 2004 bloody stool was back full force and now a few bad teeth had to be removed. Also while in mold homes both time his sperm count dropped to nothing. Than out of a mold home once again and he is much better after 2 months away. Stepan is a nuetered pet now and is loved dearly... This photo was taken at time between the two mold homes. He is in great shape now . |

This is Ace... He is a frenchie from Russia. Ace came to my son as a christmas gift Nov. 2001. We did not know mold was growing in our homa at this time yet. By Jan. 2002 Ace was at the vets with bad runs and coughing. Vet said to give him childerns cough meds and plenty of rest. "He had a cold", she said. His blood work was fine. Just like Step-ans always was. Weather broke, spring came and Ace spent most of his time out side in yard now. He seemed to be doing fine. In June that year he started to get ear infection. Always on meds for it. It would clear up and be fine for about two weeks and than a flare up. By Augs. he went in for a scope and they found a tumor growing inside his ear canal. With in two weeks it doubled in size and shape. More was growing under it. Vet said to keep him quite till we could get in for a bi-opsi. Had this done and by time test results came back three days later a tumor had pop out of his head and he began to shake his head like a crazy man. Back to the vets we went and this time we did not return with our pal, ACE! |

This is Russell's Paws kitty... He was a Maine coon Polydactal cat. Paws also was a gift of my sons and his girlfreinds. He live in my son room most of the time. The room with the Stachybotry found in the inner wall cavity. Paws Came to us summer 2001. 6 month old kitten rescue we got in. He was so big and so cute my son just had to have him. Paws was his show cat and did very well. Winter 2001 Paws was at vets with coughs and runs just like the other. Vet said he had algeries and put him on Predinsone meds. By that spring Paws had a lot of hair getting thin and he slept alot too. We thought it was the meds. Once we found out we had mold Paws and two of our other poly cats moved to my brothers farm. All became well in a months time in all that fresh air. Well we had a bad mold tester company at that old home and we were told that our mold was not the bad kind and we could move him. {Our Poly Cats went to farm Sept. 2002 when we found the mold and we moved to a tent. We moved out of yard to a friends Oct. 2002} Dec. Christmas day we moved back into home. We had it painted and carpet was almost ready to go in. Paws came home Jan. 2003 and had a brain anerisum go off in his head Feb. 2003. He never recovered. We moved out of that first mold home and have not been back since. |

Here is the story of my pets illness due from mold & other toxins. |
Two photos show Stepan before the Stachy mold from fire water. Big Purrfect Show Cat! |
These three photos are of Stepan after the moldy homes. He lost weight and brake-out scares left discoloredment to his skin. You can see by his by the above photo's. |
Once out of mold, he's fat again, but it left him with bad lungs, cough and poor skin coloring. He can no longer be shown at cat shows. My Dreams of him being first champion Don Sphynx in USA are gone! "Mold kills your DREAMS!".. Vet said he maybe used for breeding still, but no more show! Now he is our Moldy Pet spokes person... |
Use these links below to visit my sons web pages. See how proud they were of there beloved pets. Thank you, Sherri Don't get lost there, use your back bottom to come back now, ya hear? |
OUR BIRDS! Diddo and Hanna |
Our Birds even were effected by mold. Diddo's first two photos was from before the stach grew. He was just purrect. Once he was in mold he feather started to look ill. He got blk rings are round hiw eyes and he iched alot. This was same with Hanana. Hanna came into our life a month after we moved into our second new home. |
Hanna was purrect when we brought her home. This a month after moving into second mold home. Here are photos after two months in Penn. mold. She started to ich very bad. We had to give her away to keep her safe from mold!! |
Before mold |
Durning mold, see how his eye color started to fade and feathers look ill. |
We are all friend here at Possoms Creek! |
Look how good Stepan looks. It was all down hill from that day we moved in. |
Iguana's, Lizards and Fish |
We have had alot of different pets also effected by molds. Our Iguana's: Georgette had mouth tumors and absesses appering on her the last year she was with us. Vet removed them easly. Goerge layed 63 eggs on my lap on day while watching TV. She was my lap pet! On day out of the blue we fund her died laying peacefully on my bed. Did stachy kill her? Grumpy was our man! When the mold levels were very hing in home that sumer, Grumpy was found daily climbing out the dog door. We could not figure out way he wanted to leave so bad. Come winter tie we found him froze in the snow, we feel he was trying to get away from the mold spore. |
We also had a very large 90 gal fish tank. It seemed that our bottom feeders kept getting tumor on them. WHY? Could it of been the stachy mold hurting my water pets too? |
Our last winter there my son had two Leopard Lizards. They went to sleep like they always did in winter. But that spring they never woke up. MOLD? HMMM |
Don't cry, be happy... I will get to see all my baby's one day again. My rainbow bridge is full! |
