| What I am and what I am not ~ I am a private person...but honest in what I reveal. I am self-preserving. I am introverted...not aloof. I love people, but wasn't equiped with the right armor to deal with most of them. I am easily hurt and slow to heal. (one of my many faults) I am overly analytical. (another fault) I am passive - not weak. I am loyal...even at times when I should let go. I am respectful of those around me. (credit good parentage) I am far from perfect and acknowledge my short-comings. |

| I like most music, but classical is my favorite overall genre. Dvorak's "New World Symphony" is my favorite piece of music, but Carmina Burana, Symphonie Fantastique, Adagio For Strings and The Planets all rank close behind. My absolute favorite artist or group regardless of genre, is Enigma. With Enigma, it's a more an identity connection...if I could translate my personality into music - Enigma would be the result. I also LOVE film score music...James Newton Howard, Ennio Morricone, Elliot Goldenthal, Trevor Jones, etc. I listen to movies as much as I watch them. What would Jaws be without it's music? or Close Encounters? Star Wars? Film Scores may be the most overlooked aspect of the movie-going experience. |

| I'm a chronic worrier. That about sums it up. Ask for the specifics about who I am or how I operate, all you need to do is read the profile of the Meyers-Briggs personality type INFJ. I took this test many years ago at a former place of employment and it was 100% accurate. Both the good and bad things are true. | Entertainment |
| I love the Arts, Photography, Theatre and Music. Anything Sensual will usually get my attention...be it people, pictures or paintings. I enjoy being at home more than any other place. Probably part of being an introvert (more on this later). Most social events leave me feeling "taxed". Not to say, I don't enjoy going out - I do - but - I like coming home better. I love hanging out with friends, having a good time, laughing....but at the end of the night, I am going to be exhausted. Being an introvert doesn't necessarily mean I don't like "socializing", it just means, I draw my energy from being alone....that is when I "re-charge". I am a huge believer in balance....in all things. I may enjoy reading some intense Philosophical text, but at some point I will put it down to read People magazine. I love a great classy date...an evening at the Symphony and dinner at a four-star restaurant, but the next night it could just as easily be cuddling on the couch, eating ice cream, watching Finding Nemo. |

| My spirituality is the most significant part of my identity. Everything is filtered through my beliefs as a Christian and my personal relationship with God. I'm not preachy...I don't really discuss it that much with other people...and, to be honest, I'm not even a big fan of organized religion. The pomp, circumstance and judgement passed by infinitely flawed human beings has always troubled me. As I have faced trials and questioned things about my own life, I sought out God on my own..not seeking his judgement, but his guidance. Why guidance and not judgement? Because I know I am loved. Christ knows I accept him and the sacrafice he made for me. Within the framework of that relationship, I know God will guide me to what is best for my life, and bring me comfort in the things I struggle with. Whether it be battles in personal relationships, life choices or dealing with my own immperfections, I take enormous refuge in knowing he will lead me, and in doing so, I live the life he intended. |

| What I Like in Others |
| Funny, Genuine, Sensual, Compasionate People. As far as friends are concerned....I like people who are versatile....who could go see Phantom of The Opera one night and go to a Comedy Club or sporting event the next. Don't be judgemental or cruel. Don't brag of your charital acts...it's not about you. In a relationship - it's all about the S's...Substance, Smarts, Spirituality, Sensuality.....and the bonuses....Sexuality, Sensitivity, Sense of Humor, Sincerity and Success in whatever makes you happy. The first four S's are the base, the others are extra credit :) |
