From the shadows, the light, and the stars,
Through the poor, and the riches of society,
You have come forth as part of all of this,
You continue as part of the flame of hope,
And renew that in others,
You have stayed open-minded,
Bringing in a world of light,
From the lives that have crossed your way.
Your loyalty to life stands taller than most,
Like an angel, you have gently wrapped your wings around the hurting souls,
While others that had seen them walked away,
That compassion has guided you along a path that you have found,
A path that leads you towards many others,
Even when you're weary or tired, you know there can be joy in their eyes once more,
And that is what will give you life again.
There is a light deep in your soul,
It was created by truth, honesty, and love,
Nothing artificial,
How else could it shine so bright?
Through the inspiration you have shown,
I believe your light will reflect off of others and return to you.
