Josiah at 12 months

I don't know where Josiah's 1st grade teacher got the idea
that he was a messy eater!!
Do you?!
One June 28, 1992 there were two major events in Josiah's life.  On his first birthday, at approximately 6:00am (the time may be off by an hour or two) we were awakened by a whopping 7.0 earthquake in San Bernardino CA.  I'm don't remember where the epicenter was, but it was very close.  Later that day there was on EQ in Big Bear, about 30 miles up in the mountains.
Later that day, Josiah was admitted to the hospital for the first time since he was three months old.  He had bronchitis...nothing to do with the earthquake.
He spent the next three years in and out of hospitals for pneumonia secondary to his heart disease and congestive heart failure.
At this point, Josiah was still only about 12 lbs, and was not strong enough to support his weight while standing, sitting up alone, walking, or even crawling.  All he could do was roll around to get where he wanted to go.  He was very good at it:-)
