| Baby Club: This group is especially for mothers that have infants and want to do activities specific to that age. Babysitting Co-op: Moms meet to arrange babysitting for one another during upcoming appointments, date nights or other times our children cannot come with us. All babysitting is done on a point system so that no money has to be exchanged. Book Club: The club reads a new book and then has a meeting to discuss the details of it. Breakfast/Lunch Bunch: Everyone meets at a certain location (Chuck E. Cheese, Dulles Town Center, a park, etc.) for a meal and then the kids can play. Cooking Club: The members go to someone’s home to exchange recipes related to the new monthly theme and sometimes even make a meal to share. Couples Night Out: The same as Moms Night Out but you bring along your husband. Field Trip Day: We sometimes go to locations outside of Loudoun County to explore what other areas have to offer. Krafty Kids: The host purchases supplies for a craft and the cost is divided among attendees. The craft is usually inclusive of all ages. Learning to Learn Education Swap: A monthly meeting during which moms can share information on all things that related education our kids. Topics include picking preschools, home schooling, or how to teach through play. Moms Night Out: A night during which all of the mothers go out to eat, to a movie, or maybe go to another member’s home. New Members Tea: A gathering of new members with the board and committee members where they can meet other new people as well as talk to the Club leaders to find out about our activities and committees. Park Day: In the warmer weather, we have at least one park day per week. We also try to visit a new park at least once per month - sometimes one that is not in our area so we can experience something different. Playgroups: Most of our playgroups meet weekly and are arranged by child's age. Members take turns meeting at someone's house. Some groups choose to meet at parks or other area locations. Siblings are welcomed. Scrapbook Club: Mothers get together to scrapbook and share presentation ideas and craft layouts. Bring you photos and scrap booking materials to work on while the kids play. |
