| Our chapter supports our community by getting involved in service projects. Members help choose the projects and charities that we support. Recent projects have included: Tag and bake sale 2007: $790 going to the YWCA Springfield! Tag and bake sale 2008: $450 donated to Brielle's Brigade & $450 to the National Lung Cancer Partnership! Delivering handmade Valentines to a local nursing home Sponsoring families during the holidays Toys for Tots Cookbook sale for charity---recipes from our own Moms! Halloween Festival to benefit the Children's Room at the East Longmeadow Public Library Volunteering at a local soup kitchen Collecting items needed for troops overseas Clean up litter and raking at Heritage Park for Earth Day! |
