Monthly Meetings
Our meetings are designed to discuss MOMS Club business, generate ideas, and vote on important descisions. Every meeting also has an activity or craft for children and we occasionally bring in speakers. Moms can always bring their children to our meetings.
Outings
We have several outings for MOMS Club members and their children each month. These have included trips to area museums, nature walks, park dates, farmers markets, zoos, hikes, beach visits, tours, concerts for kids and parties. Almost every activity we organize is free. In addition, we have a monthly "MOMS night out" for our members to have the chance to socialize without their children.
Service Projects
Our outreach projects usually focus on helping families or children in need Currently, we are beginning a project to raise money for the Mother to Mother Fund. This is a fund that helps other MOMS Club members across the country who are in need due to a variety of circumstances -- a death in the family, loss of a job, a tragedy, a natural distaster such as Hurricane Katrina, etc.
