Maymont McDonald’s Cross Country Festival |

On Saturday September 30, 10 girls and 10 boys from the Monacan Cross Country team participated in the Maymont McDonald’s Cross Country Festival held at Maymont Park. The Chiefs had 4 girls and 5 boys who participated in the Bronze Division and 6 girls and 5 boys who participated in the Silver Division. Special congratulations to Andy Cutler, he received an award for placing in the top 15 in the Silver Division with his 7th place finish. Thanks to all of the girls and boys who participated and also to all of the parents who came out to support the team!!!
The Boys Silver Division had 304 runners and the team finished 20th out of 45 teams participating with an average time of 19:53:17.
Individual Results: Andy Cutler 17:10:43 7th; A J Johnson 18:32:27 70th; Jordan Calfee 19:00:96 113th; Aubrey Farmer 19:30:94 135th; Ryan Marr 25:11:23 285th.
The Boys Bronze Division had 293 runners and the team finished 33rd out of 38 teams participating with an average time of 22:03:58.

Dominion District Championships |

at Pocahantas State Park. The runners were split into two divisions - Varsity and Sub-Varsity for both the Boys and Girls. Monacan had boys and girls participating in each division.
Andy Cutler finished 10th in the Boys Varsity Division with a time of 16:53 and was the only top 15 finisher for the Chiefs. This was Andy’s first sub-17 minute race this season.
