My Name is Tony Barksdale. I am on Alabama’s death row. I have been incarcerated since I was 18 years old, I am now 26 years old. Being incarcerated at such a young age I have not experienced many things in life and by the look of things I may never have that chance. I often write about these things in my poetry found in these pages. My family live in Washington, DC. Due to the distance I have not seen them since I have been under sentence of death. Sometimes the situation seems dark as teh isolation and loneliness sets in, I am in need of someone, anyone to write to and talk to. I am an will be honest with you about all things. I really need a friend!!
