c. AUTHOR'S NOTES
--------------------
--This FAQ is called a boss guide, but iin reality it has everything I can get
around to EXCEPT a full walkthrough. There's already several walkthrus here
at GameFAQs for you to check out. They're pretty good too.
--If you wish to contribute anything to this FAQ or ask a question (that isn't
answered anywhere below), then e-mail me at empbrandon@mchsi.com.
EXTRA NOTE--Sometimes it might be a while before I check my e-mail, so don't
expect an instant reply
--Contributors will be recognized in my credits section in the next version of
my FAQ
--The stats charts, formation damage esttimate charts, and the bosses' hit
point estimates were all done entirely by me. If you want to use them, please
ask me, and please give me proper credit. It took a long time for me to come
up with these charts and estimates.
--I'll try to update this FAQ as much ass possible, and whenever necessary, but
most of this FAQ has pretty much been completed. I will add on as people
contribute to this FAQ.

--------------------
d. UPDATES
--------------------
1.0--First version, all sections complete
1.5--Finally! An update! Well... just a few things I'm fixing up on. Added
some new info on Sailor Mercury/Nabu. Fixed errors in the dub name changes
section and added Experiments section. I've added alot of stuff to the FAQ
section and the Credits section. I also found out that I forgot to enter all
of Apsu's attacks (how could I miss that?, oh well...) so I'll add em' in. I
might have even more stuff to come around the next update (maybe a Mythology
section). There's not much to update, but I'm sure I'll get around to it
sooner or later.
2.0--Yep, I've actually updated my FAQ. I have my new e-mail address posted
up and a list of all Sailor Moon DVDs currently available. The big update is
the new Senshi Rankings section, with details on who has the highest ranking
in each stat category. I've also fixed more minor errors in my FAQ. I don't
think this will be the last update, but we'll see...
2.5--Finally got around to an update ^_^. Well... this time I just have a few
additions and corrections in the SM:AS Questions section. I've also added
some credits. I'm planning on a much bigger update for next time.
3.0--Well... it's been a while, but I got around to another update. This
update is mainly several things to the Questions section, including answers to
several questions that I have found to be frequently asked. Various things in
the FAQ that have become outdated have been updated as well.

--------------------
I. SM:AS QUESTIONS
--------------------
Here I will answer some questions about Sailor Moon, either this game or
otherwise. I will add to this section as I receive feedback and update.
Please don't e-mail me a question if it's already right here.

Q: If I need help, how can I find you (EmperorBrandon)?
A: You can e-mail me at empbrandon@mchsi.com, but it takes me a few days
before I check my e-mail. You can also find me on the message boards at
GameFAQs.com. I'm usually on the Sailor Moon Another Story board daily.

Q: I want to watch Sailor Moon on TV. When does it come on and on what
channel?
A: Sailor Moon no longer comes on Toonami (though it is rumored to return).
Check tvguide.com and search for "Sailor Moon". You may find that it comes on
your local WB, Fox, or UPN station.

Q: I want Sailor Moon on tape or DVD. How much has been commercialy released?
A: 1st season--Edited dub tapes are already available of this series, and it
has been completed. ADV will be releasing the entire series subbed and uncut
on DVD sometime soon.
2nd season, R--The edited dub tapes of this series are starting to be
released. They'll evenutally finish. As with the Classic season, ADV is
planning on releasing this entire series subbed and uncut.
3rd season, S--This is available on edited dub, uncut dub, or subtitled tapes,
as well as dual language DVD. I highly recommend the DVDs if you have a DVD
player, as you get 2x asmany episodes as on tape and you get 2 versions, the
uncut dub and the uncut sub.
4th season, Super S--This series has been released in the same manner as the
S season, except the subbed VHS version was dropped about halfway through.
5th season, Sailor Stars--This series has not been dubbed and/or shown on
Cartoon Network, and it has had no commercial release. It may be dubbed and
released some time in the future. If you want to see it now, you could find
a fansub. It's pretty good.

Q: I want to talk about Sailor Moon and/or anime with other fans. Where can
I go?
A: The message board here at GameFAQs has lots of Sailor Moon and anime fans
like myself. ^_^ All you have to do is provide a user name and e-mail, then
you can post on the message boards. Here's some quick links (these may become
obsolete later, I'll try to update this FAQ).

Q: Where can I buy these online (Sailor Moon on VHS or DVD)?
A: www.buy.com, www.express.com, www.amazon.com, www.bestprices.com,
www.suncoast.com, www.dvdplanet.com. Those are a few places you can buy them
online. You can also find Stars and SS Specials fansubbed by VKLL.

Q: What does anime mean? What does manga mean?
A: Anime is an animated show (cartoon) that originated in Japan. Manga is the
same thing, except is the graphic novel (comic) that originated in Japan. The
original of Sailor Moon is the manga, which was done by Naoko Takeuchi.

Q: Where do you get this game?
A: The Japanese version is rare and difficult to find. You can find a
translated ROM for this game for an SNES emulator, but it is illegal unless
you own the game (it's quite old though, so I don't think it'd be any harm).

Q: I can't find the pendant you need to get into Mary's room in Jupiter's
scenario. Where is it?
A: It only appears after you have finished a few events. I will list them in
order right here.
1. Go to the elder's house in Medias, the first village (the largest house in
the upper-right corner of town) and talk to the girl there on the first floor.
2. Go up the stairs in the elder's house and talk to George there.
3. Go through the woods to Mishii, go to the elder (in the northern portion
of town) and let him throw you back. Now go over to the left and you should
find the pendant.

Q: How do I find Neptune's accessory, the Aqua Earrings?
A: You find this in the forest where you pick up Chibiusa (you first come
through it with Uranus, Neptune, and Saturn). At the beginning of the forest,
there is a merchant guy and a Luna-P save point. Go right from there a
little ways, then go north when you get to where the path opens up. The first
left should take you over to a visible treasure chest. Go up until you get to
next left. Take this left and go straight until you hit a dead end. Look up
in the trees and you will find a hidden treasure chest with the Aqua Earrings.
I hope this helps. ^_^

Q: How do I use Link attacks?
A: This seems to be a frequently asked question so I'll answer in detail. To
create links, you have to go to the Link creation menu. To go here, simply
press Start while your on the map screen. When you get there, there will be
two sides of the book. There's 9 spaces on the left side (these spaces are
filled up w/ 9 other senshi than Sailor Moon as a default) and 3 spaces on the
right (first w/ Moon, the other two are blank by default. To move a Senshi,
move over to her and press A, then move to space where you wish to put her and
press A again. If that space already has a senshi on it, then they will
exchange spots. Now, to test out a link put either 2 or 3 senshi on the right
side of the screen, then press Y to see if the link works. If it does work,
you can use in battle if both of the senshi are present. When you're
finished, press Start to go back to the map screen. Check out the Links Guide
below for more info on them.

Q: How is LAP (Link Attack Power) increased?
A: I'll make up a hidden stat called Link Exp. Whenever a character executes
(only the character that selected the link attack; the link partner does not
count) a link attack, they get 1 Link Exp. 2 Link. Exp is needed to go up 1
LAP. So the (# of times a link attack is used by that character)/2=LAP. The
maximum for LAP is 255.

Q: How do I beat (insert boss name here)?
A: Look in the boss guide section. There's bound to be something there to
help you with that.

Q: I'm having trouble beating normal enemies, not bosses. Can you help?
A: The main thing to do is to make sure you have the best accesories equipped
and to make sure that you're in a good enough formation (a more defensive
formation may be necessary). Also throw in healing items as well.

Q: How do I get the treasures that are blocked off by those guys in the Earth
Palace in the past?
A: For right now, I do not know. All I know is that the chests contain Holy
Water and Life Can. I believe there is a point where the path will not be
blocked, but haven't found it yet (still looking into it...)

Q: Where are the special accessories/puzzle pieces?
A: Diamond--Beryl's Cave, Moon Kingdom
Sapphire--Schwartz's Cave, Schwartz's Cave
Ruby--Yaga Elder's House, Yaga Elder's House
Emerald--Mishii Elder's House, Nephrite Ruins
Topaz--Cave at the start of Venus's scenario, Venus's Ark
Rainbow--Moon Kingdom, Underground Basement at Moon Kingdom
Amber--Chibi-Usa's Forest, North Pole
Aqua--Chibi-Usa's Forest, Black Moon
Garnet--Time Palace, Time Palace
Flourite(?)--Tomoe Labs, Tomoe Labs
*Rainbow Ribbon*--Moon Kingdom
*Red Pupil*--Time Palace, Kainess Ice Caves (after beating Esmaraude)
*Angel Pin*--(10)Crystal Palace (after collecting the entire puzzle)

*enclosed in asterisks* means that the special accessory can be equipped by
anyone. These are good! Be sure not to miss them!

Hidden Puzzle Pieces--(2)Andeng, (1)inbetween Medias and Mishii, (2)Mishii,
(1)Mishii elder's house
*NOTE* These are not all of the puzzle pieces, but these are enough to
complete the puzzle. I believe you need at least 4 to have a complete puzzle.

Q: I missed one of the special accessories/puzzle pieces. Can I go back and
get them?
A: It depends. Many of the places here you will only visit once, but you will
visit some of them twice, and get an additional chance at getting an accessory
if you missed them the first time. Once you come back to the present from the
past, you're chances at get many of these accesories will be lost for good, so
be sure you have everything before you fight Sin.

Q: Why wasn't this game ever released in North America?
A: This game is pretty old (1995, I think), and back in that time we didn't
even have Sailor Moon over here in North America. The last series that this
game takes from, the S series, just started showing on Cartoon Network here,
even though the Japanese had it 5 years ago (oh well... it takes forever for
them to get here). So, basically, they didn't care for bringing a Sailor Moon
game over here because the series wasn't over here, and once they did all come
over here, the SNES and the game were pretty outdated.

Q: Will this game ever be released in North America?
A: I extremely doubt it unless we get some collection of old Sailor Moon games
for one of the newer systems (which I also doubt as well).

Q: These aren't the names of the characters from the TV show. Why does this
game have the wrong names?
A: In the American dubbed version, the names were changed, and this game use
the Japanese names. Here's a table for those who're eager to find out
Japanese (or maybe American) names.
Usagi-->Serena
Mamoru-->Darien
Ami-->Amy

Q: Who are these new enemies and where did they get their weird names?
A: They are the Oppositio Senshi and they want to destroy the Ginzuishou and
the Sailor Senshi for the good of society and peace (although they're really
being controlled by a greater alien force called Apsu). Their names follow
Babylonian gods/godesses that have similar attributes to the Roman gods/
godesses (which is what the Sailor's names are based on). i.e. Marduk(chief
god) for Jupiter, and Ishtar(goddess of love) for Venus.

Q: What are some of the more useful attacks/links in the game?
A: Here's a few...

Shabon Spray--Yes, Shabon Spray. It may look weak but one hit from this and
you're enemies' attack power and accuracy falls. A great move to start off
any battle. It also ignores the enemies defense and formation, so use it if
you're in the very back and/or your enemy has really good defense.

Healing Shower--This link tech of Moon and Venus isn't really a healing move,
but it's even better! It raises your attack power by a bit, allowing your
characters to do even more damage, and near the end of the game, raises your
chance of a 9999 damage strike.

Time Stop--If you have the necessary EP to use this move, it's a major helper.
The damage is minimal (like with Shabon Spray) but it keeps the enemies from
making a move. It's another good time and damage saver when fighting tough
enemies.

Death Reborn Revolution--This average 2EP attack can instantly be turned into
a major enemy killer in the midgame if you equip Saturn with the right
accessories (Amulet, Destruction Tiara, and Red Pupil) and put her in the
center of Cluster formation.

Rainbow Moon Heart Ache/Pink Sugar Heart Ache--Make sure you make the change
to Super form worth it by equipping good accessories and putting them in
center of Cluster. Also, you might want a defensive measure for ChibiMoon.

Sparkling Wide Pressure/Venus Love-me Chain/World Shaking/Fire Soul--Your
attackers will deal great damage with normal attack if placed in a front row
position (1500+ points on my formation chart). Use cheaper attacks to
preserve EP.

Pink Sugar Heart Attack--Huh??? What's this attack doing here?

II. CHARACTER GUIDE
--------------------
NOTES
--I've gathered all of these stats basedd on their stats at LV. 25, and with no
accessories on.
--8 of these Sailors follow an order of attack or defense. Moon, Mercury,
Neptune, and Saturn have high defense, and Mars, Jupiter, Venus, and Uranus
have high attack. Having a good balance of both types of characters will make
your party strong. Chibi-Moon and Pluto belong to neither of these groups,
but have their own special strengths that help them in battle.

---MOON---
HP -303
Attack -40
Defence-62
Speed -42
Evade -64
She's quite well-rounded for a senshi. She has very high defense, low (but
decent if you link with others) attack, good speed, and has a very good
evasion. You're pretty much going to have her in your team throughout the
game, so get use to using her. Her main strength lies in her link powers, as
she can link with every other party for a variety of powerful combos. Getting
Moon's LAP to max will greatly benefit her link power, and this is needed
(because her normal attacks are plain weak). She is important for her healing
move and links too.

---MERCURY---
HP -302
Attack -37
Defence-64
Speed -40
Evade -63
Very similar to Sailor Moon, except her D is a little higher. Her attacks are
pathetic, but she can actually deal decent damage if you build up your links
(LAP). Use her similar to Sailor Moon, as a healer. She'll be taking so
little damage that you probably won't have to worry about her dying, so use
her as a great back-row (or even front-row) healer. Not only this, but her
Shabon Spray has a useful effect (though it may not seem useful at first). It
ignores defense so use it on characters with insane defense levels (like
Nabu). It also lessens the amount of damage enemies deal to you. She's much
more useful than she appears at first.

---MARS---
HP -503
Attack -63
Defence-42
Speed -36
Evade -45
She has high HP and attack and low defence, speed, and evade. Although you
don't have to be as careful as with Jupiter, Uranus, and Venus, you need to
make sure her defense is high and that she is in a safe position, otherwise
she'll be wiped out pretty easily by tougher bosses. You'll find that it's
better to use single attacks than links with her, if she is in front.

---JUPITER---
HP -522
Attack -67
Defence-42
Speed -39
Evade -39
She has the highest HP and 2nd highest attack in the game! However, her Evade
is extremely low (watch out for Barrier, Fascination, Toxic Mist, etc.!) and
her defense is low. Like Mars, take caution when placing her in formations
and also equip her with defence-increaing accesories. The Rainbow Feather can
solve her evade problems, if you're willing to use it on her. Also, single
attacks will do better than links for her, if she is in front.

---VENUS---
HP -311
Attack -66
Defence-40
Speed -38
Evade -64
She has high attack, high evade, but low defense and speed! Her low defense
and average HP makes her one of the least survivable in the game, so keeping
her safe is very important! Otherwise, single attack will usually do more,
unless you're stuck in the back.

---CHIBIMOON---
HP -319
Attack -43
Defence-47
Speed -66
Evade -44
Like Sailor Moon, Chibi-moon is very well-rounded. Her defense, attack, and
evade are low, but are better than many others, and her speed is VERY HIGH.
She almost always scores the first move in battle, which is very important.
Link techs are very useful for Chibi-Moon, and she operates real well from the
back row. Turn her into Super Sailor Chibi-Moon and you'll be able to do the
most powerful link in the game if Super Sailor Moon is with you. Once again,
get her LAP real high!

---URANUS---
HP -492
Attack -68
Defence-38
Speed -44
Evade -38
Uranus is similar to Jupiter, with high HP and attack and great speed, but low
Evade and defense. Once again, make sure she's safe and defended. Space
Sword Blaster and World Shaking will do more than your link moves usually if
you're in the front. Along with Neptune and Pluto, she can pull off "Dead
World Submerge", the ultimate link attack.

---NEPTUNE---
HP -316
Attack -38
Defence-62
Speed -36
Evade -66
Neptune is similar to Mercury, with high defense and evade, but with low
attack and speed. She makes a great healer but can deal decent damage with
her link moves, esecially when teamed with Uranus and Pluto.

---PLUTO---
HP -200
Attack -36
Defence-49
Speed -37
Evade -46
Pluto may seem weak, with all of her stats being below average except for
defense, which is average, but in reality, she's one of the most powerful.
Why? Two words. Time Stop! This move, although super expensive, keeps
enemies from moving for 3 turns! It is possible to heal after you use it on
the next turn, and you'll be able to keep on using it until your Colognes run
out! Obviously, this move is extremely important, so don't leave Pluto out!
She can also deal decent damage with link attacks, as well.

---SATURN---
HP -284
Attack -36
Defence-65
Speed -36
Evade -62
Many Sailor Saturn fans argue that Sailor Saturn is the most powerful of the
senshi, and they're not wrong either, Saturn is very helpful and powerful in
SM:AS. Although her stats seem very close to Sailor Moon's, she actually has
much more power than that. Her Amulet and Destuction Tiara are among the most
powerful senshi-specific items, increasing her attack and defense greatly when
used together. Throw in a Red Pupil for speed and even more attack power and
she's awesome. Her attacks will deal 2000-5000 hits points to many enemies,
including bosses. She may lose a bit of her power later in the game, but she
still has her almost invincible defense! She takes full use of the front
position in Cluster, and her only attack link, Crescent Revolution, is seldom
better that Death Reborn Revolution. Her other moves are very powerful
healing moves that help her to be a very useful healer as well. She works
very well with Moon, Chibi-Moon, and Venus.

POWER ORDER
When it comes to stats, the 10 Senshi each have their own good points and bad
points. When putting your party in formation, be sure to take Attack and
Defense into consideration. Here are the Senshi listed in order from
strongest to weakest in each stat category. The senshi particularly high in
a specific stat will be marked off from the rest.

HP
This is the amount of health you have. The maximum is 999.
1. Jupiter 522
2. Mars 503
3. Uranus 492

4. ChibiMoon 319
5. Neptune 316
6. Venus 311
7. Moon 303
8. Mercury 302
9. Saturn 284
10.Pluto 200

ATTACK
This is a vital stat that determines how powerful your attacks are on the
enemy.

This is a vital stat that determines how much damage the enemies' attacks
inflict.
1. Saturn 65

9. Venus 40
10.Uranus 38

SPEED
This stat determines who is going first. It's important to know you're
senshi's speed and compare it to your enemies' in order to effectively chain
your attacks and healing moves.
1. ChibiMoon 66
---------------
2. Uranus 44
3. Moon 42
4. Mercury 40
5. Jupiter 39
6. Venus 38
7. Pluto 37
8. Mars 36
9. Neptune 36
10.Saturn 36

EVADE
The higher this rating, the more likely it is for an enemy status effect to
miss. Have this high when facing bosses that use many bad status effects.
1. Neptune 66
2. Moon 64

USEFUL TEAMS
MOON+MERCURY+MARS+JUPITER+VENUS
This is a very handy team to have, and it adds to the story if you pick it for
the Black Moon UFO, the Dark Palace, and your first confrontation with Apsu.
Anyway, this team is perfect when it comes to double links. Everyone can link
with each other, which makes this team have a great variety of moves. Another
plus is that this team is the only one that can pull off the most powerful
formation attack in the game, Sailor Planet Attack. This team has a ratio of
2 defenders to 3 attackers, so go with a formation that is more suitable to
many attackers, like Shoot or Arrow (with Sailor Moon or Mercury in the very
front).

CHIBI-MOON+URANUS+NEPTUNE+PLUTO+SATURN
The mirror image of the above party, except possibly more powerful. You only
have one good attacker, Uranus, but if you put Saturn at the front of Cluster
and give her suitable accesories, she will deal amazing damage without being
hurt very much herself. Pluto works as a great healer from the back and is
useful with her Time Stop. Neptune is a very good healer and link attacker.
Chibi-Moon is also a powerful healer (with Sailor Saturn) and better with link
attacks.

MOON+VENUS+CHIBI-MOON+SATURN+(your choice)
This team gives you Sailor Saturn's full link potential along with a variety
of good attack and healing power. Add in your 5th person as Jupiter, Mars, or
Uranus for even more attack power or use the extremely helpful Pluto. With
the sheer amount of healing spells in this team's arsenal plus Sailor Saturn's
powerful attack, this team is almost unbeatable.

MOON+(MERCURY, NEPTUNE)+CHIBI-MOON+PLUTO+SATURN
The enemy will have a very tough time trying to break through this team's
defenses. However, it would seem its impossible to damage the enemy with this
team, but if you build up LAP you should be able to do alot of decent damage
to the enemy without good attackers in your party. Also, id you equip Saturn
with the perfect trio of accessories (Dest. Tiara, Amulet, Red Pupil) she will
become an extremely powerful attacker with Death Reborn Revolution. All of
this and you'll barely be able to get hurt by the enemy (if Chibi-Moon and
Pluto are in the back).

--------------------
III. LINKS GUIDE
--------------------
Some information about link techs.
--Link attacks increase power when the ccharacters performing the link have
higher LAP.
--Whenever a character performs (and thiis means only the character actually
using it, not both linked characters) a link attack twice, her LAP will go up
by 1. The maximum LAP you can reach is 255.
--Link attacks seem to do the same damagge in the back row as in the front.
--Link attack damage is based on the commbination of LAP and the attack power
of the user.
--Link attacks always cost 2EP per persoon for double and 3EP per person for
triple.
--There are many double links in the gamme, but only a few triple links:
Stardust Stream Hit: Moon, Mercury, Mars
Rainbow Heart Shower: Moon, Venus, Chibi-Moon
Rainbow Heart Revolution: Moon, Chibi-Moon, Saturn
Fire Thunder Shaking: Mars, Jupiter, Uranus
Dead World Submerge: Uranus, Neptune, Pluto
--Super Sailor Moon and Super Sailor Chiibi-Moon can use a powerful link move
called Double Rainbow Moon Heart Ache, which can not be found in the link
menu, but is already there for you to use when you have both of these
characters.

IV. FORMATION GUIDE
--------------------
NOTES
--The numbers are estimates that I came up with when attacking from different
positions. Some of them maybe a little inaccurate, but it gives you a good
idea of how much damage a character will do from a position.
--People in the back row, although they can't attack with as much damage, are
much safer from enemy attacks. Like in the Arrow formation: Someone in the
middle will deal 3x as much damage to the enemy than if they would have been
in the back, but enemies will also take 3x more damage to you than if you
would have been in the back
--The most defensive spot is in the backk of a Victory formation, and the most
offensive is in the middle of a Cluster formation.

SHOOT--This formation makes a solid balance of offense and defense between
your party members. Unfortunately, this formation has a bad special attack,
and healers are put up front where they can be hurt. This is useful mainly
whenever you have many attackers with low defense (like with the Planet Attack
Formation).
1000
  1000
    1000
      1000
        1000
ARROW--This is a good formation if you have 3 overpowering characters but you
do not want to subject yourself to the very low defense of the Cluster
formation. Great if you have at least 2 weaklings or if your power character
has a very low defense (i.e. Jupiter, Mars, and Uranus). Weakness is that it
has lower-powered formation attack and severely handicapped back row(even
though they make good healers). This class can always be a substitute for the
Cluster formation if you're having defense problems.
        300
    1200
 3200
    1200
        300
VICTORY--Great if you have many power-fighters but only 1 weakling (like in
the case of when you have Chibi-Moon) The person in the back is nearly
invincible, making it the best spot for a healer. The other spots need to be
occupied by powerhouses that can back up the healer. Also, a really powerful
formation attack.
2000
    1000
        150
    1000
2000
CLUSTER--This is my favorite formation, and probably the best one too. Very
similar to the Arrow formation, except this one deals about 66% more damage.
Very good if you have a powerful defense character that also has a very decent
attack (i.e. Saturn, Moon). Then you can put other heavy-hitters in the 2
slots, plus people in the back row can actually deal decent damage (a good
place to put heavy-hitters with low defense i.e. Mars, Uranus, Jupiter).
This all-around combination can be used in place of Shoot(all-powerhouse
party) or Victory(3 powerhouses+ 2 healers). The #1 problem with this format
is low defense, so if that ever becomes a problem, you should use Victory or
Arrow instead.

2000 800

V. BOSS GUIDE
--------------------
SPOILERS
I have not really included any spoilers in here, other than the bosses' names,
which you could consider to be a spoiler. If you are wary of spoilers, then
find out yourself who you're going to be fighting, and then come to this
strategy guide if you need help.

NOTES
--The bosses hit point totals are not offficial, but they're accurate estimates
that I came up with using my calculator and are pretty close to the bosses
real HP total.
--I tend to use the Cluster formation allot, since it has good attack power and
is great for defensive characters. However, in some situations (mainly near
the end of the game), you might want to use a more defensive position.
--Recommended levels might be pretty steeep, but if you're at that level, then
beating the boss will be (much) easier. Many times one level can mean the
difference between victory and defeat.
--Recommended attacks are what will do tthe most damage to the enemy. However,
you might want to use cheaper attacks because they are more cost-effective
than more powerful and more expensive attacks. However, if you've got the
Colognes to burn, you might as well use expensive ones.
--A * by a character means that you coulld use a similar character (like
Mercury instead of Neptune, or Jupiter instead of Uranus). On the other hand,
a * by an attack means that that character may be better off doing a healing
move than attacking.
--My summary usually sums up just about everything you need to know about
beating a boss, but if you need any additional help that might not be here,
feel free to e-mail me (empbrandon@mchsi.com)

Recommended Attack: anything will do (use basic special attacks)
Experience: 5
Yen: 2500
Reward: None
You have almost all the outer scouts, plus you probably have some accesories
equipped and at least Lv.4, so you should have no problem fighting this boss
at all. If you do, then you are at an extremely low level, but this is almost
impossible (if you've been fighting enemies).

MUHREED HP 180

This will be a little hard if you haven't leveled up or equipped accesories,
but not too much for you. She constantly attacks your party with Toxic Mist,
trying to poison you. Once you have poison there is little you can do, except
go ot the healer outside. Otherwise, she'll be taken down pretty easily, so
don't worry. You fight this boss 2 times.

Fascination can be dangerous, so watch out, however. You fight this boss 2
times.

CHAPTER 2

NABU HP 220
Affiliation: Oppositio Senshi

Formation: Cluster
------ ------
    Mercury
------ ------
Recommended Attack: Shine Aqua Illusion
Experience: 30
Yen: 10
Reward: Moon Shard
Your first battle vs. Nabu is pretty easy, just repeatedly use Shine Aqua
Illusion.
NABU HP 220
Affiliation: Oppositio Senshi
Difficulty: ****
Special Attack: Tempest, Toxic Mist
Recommended Level: 17+
Party: Mercury
Formation: Cluster
------ ------
    Mercury
------ ------
Recommended Attack: Shabon Spray
Experience: 270
Yen: 2500
Reward: None
Are you ready? Nabu gets mad and attacks you a second time. Be warned ahead
of time that this boss has incredible defense, so your attack power will
really matter alot. This will be nearly impossible to beat if you're totally
unprepared. Basically if your attacks are doing damage in the single digits,
then you're totally unprepared. There are three very helpful steps to this
problem: 1) Make sure your level is at least 17 (preferably 18). 2) Bring
plenty of healing items, if at all possible (BathMedics and IceShards
included). 3) Adhere to the above formation and make sure your accesories
are: 2 Saphhire special accesories, and a Bracelet. 4) Use the Shabon Spray
attack on Nabu. It's cheap, ignores Nabu's incredible defense (even though
it's weak), and causes a useful defensive effect. If you make all the
necessary preparations this battle will be much easier. If you don't, this
could well be the hardest boss in the game and will take forever to beat (her
defense is insane!!!!).

DESTROYER A(2) HP ?, DESTROYER B(2) HP ?
Affiliation: Dark Kingdom
Difficulty: *
Special Attack: none
Recommended Level: 6
Party: Mars
Formation: any will do
Recommended Attack: Burning Mandala
Experience: 6

Reward: None
Easily wipe these idiots out with a Burning Mandala.

DAISOUJOU HP 250

Special Attack: Toxic Mist
Recommended Level: 10+
Party: Mars
Formation: Cluster
------ ------
    Mars
------ ------
Recommended Attack: Mars Snake Fire
Experience: 100
Yen: 300
Reward: Application Medicine
He's pretty easy if you've leveled up enough. 2 Mars Snake Fire should do the
trick.

NERGAL HP 300
Affiliation: Oppositio Senshi
Difficulty: **
Special Attack: Illusion, Whirlwind Cut
Recommended Level: 15+
Party: Mars
Formation: Cluster
------ ------
    Mars
------ ------
Recommended Attack: Mars Snake Fire
Experience: 300
Yen: 900
Reward: Moon Shard
This boss has deadly-powerful attacks and a status-effect move (which can be
bad if you only have one senshi). However, if Mars is at a high enough level,
she should be able to finish her in only a few hits, so she should not be any
big problem.

MARDUK HP 540
Affiliation: Oppositio Senshi
Difficulty: **
Special Attack: none (just uses normal attack on you)
Recommended Level: 15+
Party: Jupiter
Formation: Cluster
------ ------
    Jupiter
------ ------
Recommended Attack: any will do (Supreme Thunder is most cost effective)
Experience: 300
Yen: 3000
Reward: None
This battle, like the one with Nergal, is real easy, if you've leveled up to
at least 15 and have both special accessories (don't miss out on these!). It
can be long, so use Supreme Thunder constantly, and she should go down.

HENCHMAN1(2) HP ?, HENCHMAN2(2) HP ?
Affiliation: Death Busters (?)
Difficulty: *
Special Attack: none
Recommended Level: 6
Party: Venus
Formation: any will do
Recommended Attack: Crescent Beam Shower
Experience: 26
Yen: 760
Reward: None
I easily wiped them out with one Crescent Beam Shower. Not really much of a
boss battle.

RADINA HP 400
Affiliation: Dark Kingdom (?)
Difficulty: **
Special Attack: Toxic Mist
Recommended Level: 12+
Party: Venus
Formation: Cluster
------ ------

------ ------
Recommended Attack: Venus Wink Sword(Lv.14+), Love-me Chain(lv.13 or below)
Experience: 100
Yen: 300
Reward: Rias Topaz
She has a poisoning attack and does some decent damage to you, so if you're
Lv.13 or below you might have some difficuly beating her, but otherwise she is
pretty easy.

HENCHMAN 2 HP 380
Affiliation: Death Busters (?)
Difficulty: *
Special Attack: None
Recommended Level: 12+
Party: Venus
Formation: most will work
recommended Attack: Venus Wink Sword
Experience: 120
Yen: 300
Reward: None
One Wink Sword should do the trick on this "boss". (maybe 2 if you're at a
lower level than 14)

ISHTAR HP 330
Affiliation: Oppositio Senshi
Difficulty: *
Special Attack: Fascination, Toxic Mist
Recommended Level: 12+
Party: Venus
Formation: Cluster
------ ------
    Venus
------ ------
Recommended Attack: Venus Wink Sword
Experience: 50
Yen: 700
Reward: Nakayoshi
And Ishtar calls herself an Opposite Senshi? This is pathetic. She might
have some nasty status effect moves, but she'll never get the chance to use
them! Why? Because I killed her in one hit, not with Wink Sword, but with a
regular attack!. As Artemis says, "the weakest dog barks the loudest".
Anyway, she's easy.

------ ------
Recommended Attack: normal attack
Experience: 140
Yen: 1960

Come on, if you won the battles against Ishtar and her Henchmen you should
have no problems at all with this one (even if you forgot to equip Chibi-Usa)

MISTRESS 9 HP 550
Affiliation: Death Busters
Difficulty: **
Special Attack: Sonic Wave
Recommended Level: 10+
Party: Moon
Formation: Cluster
------ ------
    Moon
------ ------
Recommended Attack: Moon Spiral Heart Attack
Experience: 65
Yen: 12000
Reward: none
She's quite easy if you're at a good enough level. Sonic Wave may give you
problems, but it rarely works.
KAOLINITE HP 650
Affiliation: Death Busters
Difficulty: ***
Special Attack: Sonic Wave
Recommended Level: 10+
Party: Moon
Formation: Cluster
------ ------
    Moon
------ ------
Recommended Attack: Moon Spiral Heart Attack
Experience: 65
Yen: 10000
Reward: Pearl Earring
Kaolinite can be a severe pain if you're not at Lv11 yet. Her attacks will
cause major damage and she has a previously unthought of amount of HP (650!).
If that wasn't enough, she also has a chance of putting you to sleep! If you
have trouble, make sure you have healing items handy, and make sure you're at
at high level. Otherwise, it should not be that tough.

GELMADOID HP 1000
Affiliation: Death Busters
Difficulty: **
Special Attack: Sonic Wave, Toxic Wave, Fascination
Recommended Level: 10+
Party: Moon, Saturn
Formation: Cluster
Moon ------
    Saturn
------ ------
Recommended Attack:
Moon: Moon Spiral Heart Attack
Saturn: Death Reborn Revolution

Experience: 65
Yen: 13000
Reward: none
This boss has many different special attacks along with high HP and good
defense. However, this time you have 2 Sailor Scouts (and Saturn's really
good^_^), so if you beat Kaolinite you should have no problem with this guy.
If you do, then go outside and level up some more.

STONE DANGER HP 1700
Affiliation: Death Busters
Difficulty: *
Special Attack: none
Recommended Level: 10+
Party: Moon, Saturn

Recommended Attack:
Moon: Moon Spiral Heart Attack
Saturn: Death Reborn Revolution
Experience: 65
Yen: 12000
Reward: none
If you have both the Destruction Tiara and the Amulet, this battle will be a
piece of cake. This monster deals between 1-5 damage to you and Death Reborn
Revolution can do up to 1500 DAMAGE!!!! Using Saturn will be a necessity in
some of the later boss battles.

DD GIRLS 1 HP 1600
Affiliation: Dark Kingdom

ChibiMoon: Pink Sugar Blaster*
Neptune: Spiral Reflection
Uranus: Pink Sugar Blaster
Experience: 89
Yen: 5000
Reward: Life Water
If you are totally unprepared, then the DD Girls can give you big time
trouble. Saturn and her Death Reborn Revolution should help tremendously in
this battle (dealing 600+ damage) as also Uranus with Space Sword/Pink Sugar
Blaster(450+ damage). Barrier might give you trouble if you do not finish
this boss off fast.

DD GIRLS 2 HP 1725

Uranus: Pink Sugar Blaster
Experience: 104
Yen: 6500
Reward: None
This boss hits with nasty Status Effect that can ruin your day if you don't
kill this boss fast. Keep the attacks coming and use Bath Medicine if you're
in trouble. Again, Death Reborn Revolution will make this battle easy.

DD GIRLS 3 HP 1800

Experience: 99
Yen: 7200
Reward: Special Cake
This boss's Tempest can cause major damage to those with low defense (i.e.
Uranus), so make sure you don't put her in front in Cluster or Arrow
formations. Otherwise, you should be able to beat this boss before it can do
major damage to you. If Uranus is constantly getting killed then put her in a
more defensive position.

DD GIRLS 4 HP 1780

Uranus: Pink Sugar Blaster
Experience: 104

This boss is very similar to the last one, only a little harder. Use the same
strategy as the last boss and also be on guard against her powerful Whirlwind
Cut.

With high hit points, a powerful damaging Whirlwind Cut, and a nasty status
effect causing spell, this is a tough boss. Make sure you're at a good level
and keep those healing items coming if you're in a desparate situation. She
should go down fairly quickly, however.

This battle was really easy for me, because I had Saturn with a Red Pupil, and
was at Lv22. With this creature receiving 1500 from both Mars and Saturn, it
really doesn't have a chance to hurt you. Another really easy boss.

You fight these 4 bosses one after another with no rest in between, so be
warned. Make sure your levels are high and your formation is right before you
go into battle against them. Also, try to stock up on healing items from the
travelling merchant that happens to be on the UFO for some weird reason. I
highly reccomend having Saturn and with a Red Pupil.

She's first up and she's pretty easy if you've leveled up enough. Just keep
pounding her with your best attacks. Her Dark Fire shouldn't do that much
damage either.(Saturn does 5000+ if she has both accessories and the Red Pupil

Again, this battle shouldn't prove too much of a challenge. Her Dark Water is
much more powerful than Cooan's Dark Fire and her HP is higher, but she still
should be quite easy.

Now here's where you may start having problems. Her Dark Bute will take half

catch party members with low defense off guard. If you're having trouble, you
might want to go back and gain levels Otherwise, its pretty easy if you have
Saturn.

Now the bosses are starting to get harder. This boss could cause alot of
trouble with his high defense and hit points, but I have a strategy that'll
make him easier to beat. Put Saturn in front of Cluster, with all her
accessories plus Red Pupil and have her do Death Reborn Revolution while
everyone else defends (or Pluto could heal or use Time Stop). This way Rubeus
won't be able to hurt you much and you can kill him.

Think you're gonna get a rest from that long battle against the Dragon? Think
again. The Dragon turns out to be Esmaruade, who immediately challenges you
to a fight. This is going to be a long hard battle regardless of what you do.
Use the strategy with Saturn again, but this time you're going to have to
worry about members getting confused or poisoned, and her Whirlwind Cut is
sure to do major damage to anyone who is not defending (it even does decent
damage to Saturn!!). Hang in there with your healers and use Time Stop to
give you some extra healing time. This battle will be insanely difficult if
you don't have either Mercury, Saturn, or Pluto. What do you get after
hours(maybe) of long hard work? A 2nd Red Pupil! Enjoy!

This battle, although tough, is not extremely difficult. Have Pluto use Time

Finally, you get to fight Sin herself! She's no piece of cake either. She
will deal major damage to low defense party members, and she can hurt back
row/defended party members with her many status spells. Plus she has a better
defense than Black Lady, so it'll take longer. Stick to a strategy that
envolves using Time Stop, and then attacking with low defense/high attack
characters, but have them defend once Sin is able to attack again. Saturn and
her Death Reborn Revolution will come in handy as well. Keep the EP-healing
items coming, and this battle should be easy.

KISHAL HP 15000

This is a refreshing break from all the hard battles you've been having. You
have both Saturn and Pluto plus Kishal has an awful defense and low HP. Take
him out easily!

Ok, it's time for a trip to the future. You'll be fighting the toughest
enemies here, so make sure you have plenty of healing items before going to
the future. Also, you have to worry about splitting your party into 2 teams
(Moon's and ChibiMoon's). Storywise, you would put the Inner Senshi with
Moon, and the Outer Senshi with Chibimoon. However, this arrangement (without
either Saturn or Pluto) will put Sailor Moon's team in a bad situation. I'd
recommend you to put Saturn in one team and Pluto in another to give each team
an advantage. You'll fight the Opposite Senshi with Moon's team. They have
plenty of attacks, and you face them in twos (except for Sin) and they will
probably be your hardest opponents. You'll fight the Witches 5+Anshar with
ChibiMoon's group. These enemies are generally less powerful and only one of
these is a two-at-a-time. Here's my party arrangement:
Moon--Pluto, Jupiter, Mars, Mercury
ChibiMoon--Saturn, Venus, Uranus, Neptune
When you're through making your teams, make sure you level Sailor Moon's party
as high up as you can before facing the bosses. The same goes for ChibiMoon's
party, as when you finish this scenario, you'll go to the Time Gate to battle
Apsu. The Time Gate has low-leveled enemies, so you won't be able to level up
much there. So make sure you're leveled up ahead of time!

Do you think they're going to be as easy as Kishal? Think again, they're the
opposite. They both have cool-looking, powerful moves that'll deal major
damage to all your party member. So, how are you going to beat them? Having
Pluto cast Time Stop, refill her EP, and have her do it over and over again
will assure victory if you have enough Colognes. If you know that one of your
front-line senshi(i.e. Jupiter, Mars) are going to get wiped out(which they
probably are) have them defend until Pluto can use Time Stop again. Don't
have Pluto? Well, there's always Saturn. You could put her in front and have
her do Death Reborn Revolution (while taking only about 50 damage per turn)
over and over again while the rest of the party defends. This will also work
with Super Sailor Moon and Rainbow Moon Heart Ache (in front, of course), but
it'll be much more expensive to perform. If you have Sailor Planet Attack
(Mercury, Mars, Venus, Moon, Jupiter), put Moon in front and have her use it
while everyone defends. Don't even think about using single-target moves,
either. The only ones that'll work well in this fight are multi-target.
Well, after you beat them don't starting relaxing yet, you've got 2 more
battles!

Despite their higher HP, they are not really that hard if you did well in the
last battle. If you had problems with the last one, you'll have problems with
this too, as Ishtar's Dark Bute takes half of your hit points regardless of
the defense. Another tough battle, but if you use the same strategy as the
last battle, you should win, it'll just take long. Only one more battle left...

This battle is a toughy if you're not prepared. Both will cast Illusion, and
if it ends up hitting, then you're in serious. You could go ahead and try to
finish them off fast, but they have alot of HP, so it'll still take time even
if your best attacks are dealing 5000+. Bring plenty of Bath Medicine just in
case. Also Toilette and Bentou Sets are good since Cyprine will Whirlwind Cut

With an insane amount of HP, an incredibly powerful defense, and an attack
that is sure to wipe out anybody with a defense less than 100, Apsu is
extremely difficult. There is a method that'll make it much easier, but you
have to have Pluto in your party and plenty of Cologne. Just have her cast
Time Stop every other round and Apsu will not be able to attack you! Heal
your EP with a Cologne in between each turn (you'll be eating 20+ of them, so
make sure you have alot) It'll still take a long time no matter what you do.
If you don't have Pluto, then try to heal as much as you can and pray that she
doesn't use Dark Sun. Anyway, you'll be suprised that you haven't won the
game yet!

----------
FINAL BOSS
----------
OK, after all the conversation scenes after you beat Apsu are finished, you
wind up in the Crystal Palace. Well..., there's three things you can do now:
1) Go outside and level up a bit more (this is recommended at this point), 2)
Get 10 Angel Pins from the merchant in the pink suit for completing your
puzzle (if you have completed your puzzle, then go to this guy immediately!
These accesories are one of your main tools in defeating Apsu), 3) Stock up
on useful items from stores, and 4) Go to the basement of the Crystal Palace
to fight Demon Apsu.

LEVELING UP TO THE MAX
Whenever you try to leave the Crystal Palace, you'll be taken to the party
select screen to select your party. Pick who you want to level up the most
(you can come back and change your party later), and then go out and battle
enemies! It'll take many, many battles to level up at the point you're at,
but at this point you should also be able to wipe any of these enemies out
with one multi-attack. Lv. 55 would be a safe bet to get to before you fight
Apsu.

ACCESSORY USE
At this point you should have 10 Angel Pins and 2 Red Pupils (if you don't, oh
well), and how you equip your accessories will matter big time. Equipping all
the sailors with their 2 senshi-specific accesories plus an Angel Pin sounds
like a good idea, and it is, but there's some better strategies you can do.
Characters like Uranus, Jupiter, Mars, and Venus have an annoying tendency to
get instantly wiped out by Apsu with one attack, and the best way to combat
this is to use multiple Angel Pins on them. Red Pupils will serve there
purpose on hi-defense characters like Moon and Saturn. Basically try some
combinations, and see which one get you the best stats.
ATTACK MEMBERS (MARS, JUPITER, VENUS, URANUS)--3 ANGEL PINS, OR 2 ANGEL
PINS and a RED PUPIL
DEFENSE-ATTACKERS (MOON, SATURN)--2 ANGEL PINS and a RED PUPIL
DEFENSE MEMBERS (NEPTUNE, MERCURY, PLUTO, CHIBI-MOON)--ANYTHING GOES (just use
their senshi-specific accesories)

STOCK UP ON HEALING ITEMS
Although it is imperative to go to the stores in Crystal Tokyo and stock up on
items, many enemies you fight on the streets will give you everything you need
for your fight with Apsu, so fight enemies as well. Make sure you at least
have 50+ Colognes before fighting her.

BEFORE THE BATTLE
You battle Apsu with two parties. The first party (Moon's) will go out first,
and if that team loses, the second team (Chibi-Moon's) will come out to fight.
Just to warn your right off the bat, when you fight with Moon's party, it's
much, much harder than with Chibi-Moon's. You could do both teams to get
ready, but you must make a choice: do you want to try and beat her with Moon's
party (and get a better ending), or do you want to let Moon's team get wiped
out and fight an easier battle vs. Apsu (but a worse ending). Make your
decision and stick to it. Here's my teams:
MOON vs. APSU
Moon, Saturn, Mars, Uranus, Pluto
CHIBI-MOON vs. APSU
Chibi-Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto
Anyway, once you've reached the basement, you'll choose teams, and then you'll
be in control of Moon's team. Make sure you're ready, then go through the
door. Here she is.....

VI. STORY GUIDE
--------------------
*WARNING* THIS DOES CONTAIN SPOILERS

RELATION TO THE ANIME AND/OR MANGA
The story of Sailor Moon: Another Story is original and occurs after S and
before Super S. It contains elements of both the manga and anime (pretty
neat, huh?). This is a guide to the character roles in Another Story
(although I might throw in some extra stuff from the series).

---SAILOR SENSHI---
The heroes of Sailor Moon! There's plenty of information about them in the
show and around the web.
TSUKINO USAGI/SAILOR MOON/SUPER SAILOR MOON/PRINCESS SERENITY(past)/NEO-QUEEN
SERENITY(future)
MIZUNO AMI/SAILOR MERCURY
AINO MINAKO/SAILOR VENUS
HINO REI/SAILOR MARS

MEIOU SETSUNA/SAILOR PLUTO
TOMOE HOTARU/SAILOR SATURN
CHIBA MAMORU/TUXEDO KAMEN/PRINCE ENDYMION(past)/KING ENDYMION(future)

---DARK KINGDOM---
The enemies of the first season of Sailor Moon. They were under Queen
Metallia (who doesn't appear in SM:AS) and her subordinate, Queen Beryl.
YOUMA--The monsters used by the Dark Kingdom. Very common early in the game.
DD GIRLS--Powerful youma that you have to fight before you reach Queen Beryl.
There are 5 of them and they can be hard if you're unprepared.
QUEEN BERYL--You find her after you beat the DD Girls. She claims that she
has escaped her destiny of being beaten by the Ginzuishou (due to the Apsu's
interference) and says she'll kill you once and for all. She gets beaten
again, but this time she is able to transform into Super Beryl without being
infused with Metallia...
SUPER BERYL--Once she tranforms, she destroys the Sailor Senshi. The senshi
wonder if she can be beaten, when they come up with the plan of beating her
with both Ginzuishou of the present and the future. She is, once again,
defeated, now with the help of the Outer Senshi.

---BLACK MOON---
The enemies of the second season of Sailor Moon (R). They were under Prince
Demando, who was being controlled by the Wiseman (Death Phantom), who does not
appear in SM:AS.
DROIDO--The standard monster for the Black Moon.
COOAN--One of the Ayakashi Sisters. She is the counterpart of Mars and the
first sister you fight on the Black Moon UFO.
BERUCHE--One of the Ayakashi Sisters. She is the counterpart of Mercury and
the second sister you fight on the Black Moon UFO.
KARABERAS--One of the Ayakashi Sisters. She is the counterpart of Venus and
the third sister you fight on the Black Moon UFO.
PETZ--One of the Ayakashi Sisters. She is the counterpart of Jupiter and the
last sister you fight on the Black Moon UFO.
RUBEUS--One of the Black Moon. He blocks off the Sailor Senshi from the ark
n the past, and tries to defeat the Sailor Senshi. He once again fails.
ESMARAUDE--One of the Black Moon. The Sailor Senshi meet her in an ice cave
near Kainess. She had been disguised as a dragon and was scaring the
villagers away. She, like Rubeus, refuses to give away any information of the
Barazuishou, except the fact that is in the hands of Prince Demando. She is
once again kile
SAPPHIRE--One of the Black Moon. He is not happy with his new destiny and
tells the Sailor Senshi where Demando is hiding after he kidnaps Sailor Moon.
He tries to protect his brother from Sin, but is killed.
PRINCE DEMANDO--Leader of the Black Moon. He goes scrambling into the past
with the Barazuishou. He is successful in kidnapping Sailor Moon, but gives
it up due to his brother's influence later on. Sin, never forgetting what the
Black Moon did to her family, mercilessly kills Prince Demando.
BLACK LADY--Once the result of the Wiseman's experiments. She is the grown-up
Chibiusa who was tricked into thinking no one loved her by the Wiseman. She
is revived due to the interference of Apsu. She serves Apsu unquestionably
and plans on killing her former self and the Sailor Senshi before they can
reach Sailor Moon. Chibi-Moon proves herself stronger, and along with her
friends, defeats Black Lady.

---FIORE AND FRIENDS---
The enemies of the Sailor Moon R Movie. His plan was revenge for the
loneliness which he suffered throughout his life, but was really a pawn for
the alien plant, Kisenian (who doesn't seem to appear in Another Story). His
only friend was Mamoru, and he was jealous of all the others who had
befriended Mamoru, including Sailor Moon.
FLOWER MONSTERS--The monsters used by Fiore. You'll find them around the Time
Gate and in the Dark Palace.
FIORE--He is revived by Apsu, and blocks the way to the Time Gate when the
senshi are headed for the future. Tuxedo Kamen decides to stay behind and
fight, and he kills Fiore, but is captured by Apsu after that.

---DEATH BUSTERS---
The ememies of the third series of Sailor Moon (S). They were lead by
Germatoid (who had taken control of Dr. Tomoe's body), and Mistress 9 (an
alien spirit that was inside Hotaru's body). Their purpose was to bring
Pharaoh 90, who does not appear in SM:AS, to earth and destroy all life on
earth. They use the sorceress Kaolinite and the Witches 5 to carry out their
plans.
DAIMON--The monsters of the Death Busters. Their job was to steal pure hearts
and fight the Sailor Senshi. They are probably the most common of the regular
enemies you fight in this game.
DR. TOMOE/GERMATOID--Supposedly he had died, but was brought back to life by
Apsu. He was commanded to kill Sailor Moon by Sin. Inviting her to Tomoe
Labs, he summons Mistress 9 and Kaolinite to defeat Sailor Moon, but fails.
When Germatoid himself faces Sailor Moon, he loses as well, but Tomoe still
seems to be possessed. His possession is finally removed by Moon and Saturn,
but he sadly dies again...
MISTRESS 9--Evil alien entity revived due to Hotaru/Sailor Saturn's destiny
being apart from the protective Ginzuishou for so long. Once again summoned
to defeat Sailor Moon, she is defeated and restored to being Hotaru.
KAOLINITE--Sorceress of the Death Busters and secretary to Dr. Tomoe. She is
summoned after Mistress 9 is defeated to kill Sailor Moon, but she is once
again defeated.
EUDIAL--1st of the Witches 5 and a counterpart of Mars. She is revived as a
servant of Anshar and guards one of the crystal points of Crystal Tokyo.
MIMET--2nd of the Witches 5 and a counterpart of Venus. She is revived as a
servant of Anshar and guards one of the crystal points of Crystal Tokyo.
TELLU--3rd of the Witches 5 and a counterpart of Jupiter. She is revived as a
servant of Anshar and guards one of the crystal points of Crystal Tokyo.
VILUY--4th of the Witches 5 and a counterpart of Mercury. She is revived as a
servant of Anshar and guards one of the crystal points of Crystal Tokyo.
CYPRINE/PUCHIROL--5th of the Witches 5 and a counterpart of Moon. She is
revived as a servant of Anshar and guards one of the crystal points of Crystal
Tokyo.

---FOUR GENERALS---
They were once servants of Queen Beryl and the Dark Kingdom, but now guard the
Prince of the Earth, Endymion. They ruled from four different locations on
Earth.
ZOICITE--His stone is near Kainess, Switzerland. In her past life, Mercury
was in love with Zoicite.
JADEITE--His stone is near Yaga, Tibet. In her past life, Mars was in love
with Jadeite.
NEPHRITE--His stone is near Medias, Canada. In her past life, Jupiter was in
love with Nephrite.
KUNZITE--His stone is near Rias, Turkey. In her past life, Venus was in love
with Kunzite.

---OPPOSITIO SENSHI---
This is the new enemy that is specific to Sailor Moon: Another Story. They
don't appear in any series of the anime or manga.
APSU--An evil alien who arrives on Earth from a comet. She wishes to change
the destiny of the planet in order for her to destroy her only weakness, the
Ginzuishou. She employs a group that questions the Ginzuishou power in order
for her to carry out her deed without getting too close to the Ginzuishou.
She appears to be beaten by the Sailor Senshi the first time, but she merges
with Sin and becomes very powerful. She almost defeats Sailor Moon, but is
defeated by the Ginzuishou once and for all.
ANSHAR--Little brother of Sin and very important to Apsu because of his
ability to travel through time. However, he is in love with Lady Serenity
(Chibi-usa), which causes him to fail on some of his missions, and he is
accused of treason by Apsu when he doesn't wish to fight Chibi-usa. He is
killed by the senshi (much to Chibi-usa's dismay, who also loves him), but is
revived once destiny returns to normal.
OPPOSITE SIN--She has much hatred to the Sailor Senshi, who failed to save her
parents during an attack by the Black Moon. Thinking that her parents were
killed because the Senshi were too busy guarding the Ginzuishou, she wants it
destroyed, making her a great ally for Apsu. She is also a counterpart of
Sailor Moon. She refuses to leave Apsu after the Oppositio Senshi are beaten
a second time (because she cares about Anshar), and fuses with Apsu to help
her survive. She is finally restored after Apsu is defeated.
OPPOSITE NABU--She questions the Ginzuishou's power, as it will not last
forever. Communicating telepathically, she accepts Apsu's call for help to
defeat the Sailor Senshi and the Ginzuishou. She tries despartely to defeat
her counterpart, Sailor Mercury, for the Zoicite stone, but fails in the end.
She is freed from Apsu's control after the Oppositio Senshi are beaten a
second time.
OPPOSITE NERGAL--She joins Apsu, not mainly for the Ginzuishou, but because of
her quest to become more powerful. Because of this, she is a dangerous ally
of Apsu. She challenges Sailor Mars, her counterpart, to a fight for the
Jadeite stone, but loses. She is also tricky at the Time Gate, almost
decieving the Sailor Senshi as Sailor Pluto, but she messes up when talking to
Chibi-usa. She is freed from Apsu's control after the Oppositio Senshi are
beaten a second time
OPPOSITE MARDUK--Believing that the Ginzuishou is the cause of all the battles
in the past, Marduk seeks to destroy it as a partner of the Oppositio Senshi.
She challenges her counterpart, Sailor Jupiter, to a battle for the Nephrite
stone, but loses. She is freed from Apsu's control after the Oppositio Senshi
are beaten a second time.
OPPOSITE ISHTAR--She is a friend of Nabu, and only because of that Apsu finds
her fitting to bring. She's not really the smartest at all, but she considers
herself the best of the Oppositio Senshi and Apsu's favorite (even though
she's not). She challenges her counterpart, Sailor Venus, for the Kunzite
stone, and loses horribly. She is freed from Apsu's control after the
Oppositio Senshi are beaten a second time.

---ANIMALS---
LUNA--Talking black cat of Sailor Moon. She follows Sailor Moon around and
gives her advice while she is fighting the Death Busters and the Dark Kingdom
again. She appears later on to help all the Sailor Senshi.
ARTEMIS--Talking white cat of Sailor Venus. He follows Sailor Venus around
and gives her advice while she is looking for the Kunzite stone. He appears
later on to help all the Sailor Senshi.
PHOBOS--One of Sailor Mars's crows. Supposedly killed by Nergal, but it comes
back later.
DEIMOS--One of Sailor Mars's crows. Supposedly killed by Nergal, but it comes
back later.
KISHAL--Anshar's weird-looking pet. Though it looks cute, this monster is
really made for evil. It helps in Shingo's kidnapping, and drains and attacks
the Sailor Senshi, but it is defeated.

---OTHER FRIENDS---
NARU--One of Usagi's friends. She is once again attacked by a monster, but is
saved by Sailor Moon.
HANS--A villager of Kainess who befriends Sailor Mercury. She helps save his
mom's life, but has to leave in search of the Zoicite stone.
HANS'S MOM--She has a fatal disease and is very sick. Only Dr. Schwartz
himself could help her at this point.
DR. SCHWARTZ--Eccentric doctor who lives in the caves north of Andeng. He is
a professional doctor, able to treat many illnesses, but he's somewhat weird
and likes cute little girls. Sailor Mercury is able to get the eccentric
doctor to come with her and help Hans's mother.
FAREGG--A villager of Yaga who befriends Sailor Mars. He bears an unusual
resemblence to Jadeite and saves Sailor Mars from a band of youma. Later he
is kidnapped by Nergal, and later Mars finds out that the people of Yaga and
Faregg are really ghosts.
YAGA ELDER--Elder of Yaga village. She points Sailor Mars to the daisoujou
and explains later that Yaga really didn't exist.
DAISOUJOU--The high priest in Lasa, and he is very wise. He was trapped by an
evil jewel called the Gemetus Ruby, but was latter freed by Sailor Mars and
Faregg. He tells Mars where she can find the Jadeite stone and gives her a
special token, but also tells her that Yaga doesn't exist, which confuses her.
GEORGE--A villager of Medias who befriends Sailor Jupiter. He is the son of
the village chief of Medias and in love with Mary, the daughter of the village
chief of Mishii. This causes problems because of the hatred of the 2 villages
towards each other. He later accompanies Jupiter to get the Nephrite stone,
which will supposedly allow their marriage.
MARY--A villager of Mishii who Jupiter meets up with. She tries to help them
out by bringing them back together, and finds out that she needs the Nephrite
stone and finds that is within the Protection Tree.
MEDIAS ELDER--Old man of Medias. He is in argument with the Mishii elder
because of a dispute over a sister and the Nephrite stone.
MISHII ELDER--Old man of Mishii. He is in argument with the Medias elder
because of a dispute over a sister and the Nephrite stone.
DARCY--A villiager of Rias who befriends Sailor Venus. He, like the other
villagers of Rias, admire her beauty, but he appears to be the nicest out of
all of them. Whenever the town is revived from stone, he tells Venus the
location of the arc, where Venus meets up with Ishtar.
VERNA--An elder of Sariel, a mirror village of Rias. She tells Venus where to
find Radina, in hopes of helping unstone Rias.
RADINA--In the present, Venus confronts her as a ghost, but releases her. She
tells Venus how to unstone Rias. In the past, she was a powerful Sage and a
follower of Sage Beryl, and tells the senshi that they should ask Sage Beryl
if they have a question.
MOMO--This is a friend of Chibi-usa. She sneaks in the Infinity Academy along
with Chibi-usa to try and get the Barazuishou.
SAGE BERYL--This is Queen Beryl in the past, before she became a queen of the
Dark Kingdom. She was in love with Prince Endymion, and was jealous of the
princess and the Moon Kingdom, which led her to join the Dark Kingdom. Sailor
Moon, disguised as a servant, has a chat with Sage Beryl, and she feels that
she is like the moon princess, but doesn't totally recognize her.
QUEEN SERENITY--The mother of Princess Serenity and past queen of the Moon
Kingdom. She ended up sacrificing herself to save everyone and send them to
the future. She has a brief reunion with Sailor Moon from the future and her
future grand-daughter, and Sailor Moon is saddened by this reunion, knowing
they can't change destiny.

VII. EXPERIMENTS
--------------------
--This section has some experiments I haave done to figure out some things
about the game. I might do more as time goes on. Feel free to use these as
long as you give me credit.
--If you've done an experiment and want to put it in my FAQ, feel free. I'll
be sure to give you credit for it. Make sure you have COMPLETE information on
your experiment

NEPTUNE's AND URANUS's REGULAR ATTACKS
Ok, this experiment is with Neptune at Lv. 1 in Shoot Formation. I attack the
enemies (Tesny in this case) about 25 times with each move and record all of
the damage numbers.

Deep Submerge
2 4 6 8 10
Submarine Reflection
2 5 7 10 12

Ok, so it goes like this...
2->2 0%
4->5 25%
6->7 16.6%
8->10 25%
10->12 20%

The increase in damage is 25% for Submarine Reflection. I put 25% in to all of
those numbers and it comes out right if you're rounding down. Since the
increase in cost is 3->4, which is 33.3%, it is more cost effective to use
Deep Submerge! Neat, eh?

Next, my experiment will be on Uranus

World Shaking
2 4 7 9 12
Space Sword Blaster
2 5 8 10 13

So, it goes like this
2->2 0%
4->5 25%
7->8 14.3%
9->10 11.1%
12->13 8.3%

It's difficult for me to find a set increase (I might have gotten my numbers
wrong), but I think it might be around 12.5%. The cost difference is the same
as above--33.3%, so World Shaking would definitely be more cost-effective (not
to mention it can hit more enemies). I have a habit of using Space Sword
Blaster against bosses, and I would expect it to be alot more powerful than
World Shaking for use against single enemies, but I guess I was wrong (maybe
it's because I never really used World Shaking that much). I'll have to test
it later on.

Well... these experiments have proven the general idea that weaker moves are
much more cost-effective. I still tend to use the more powerful moves,
especially when I've got alot of energy to use (and it can easily be refilled
at the moment w/ Cologne or Toilette)
