The bottom neckie of the two is the neckie that our unit uses. The one above is the one that we previously used. Earlier this year we decided that we no longer wished to use the green one and we decided to design our own. The green one is the neckie that is used by the group and was brought in a few years ago to replace a much nicer (and itchier) tartan one. The tartan that was used was the new caledonian tartan. The design that we decided to use was that of our leader. The real neckie does differ slightly from that in the picture. In the real one there is another small band of colour that runs along the bottomso each side changes back to the main colour scheme of that side. Also the yellow is far brighter on the real neckie. These were all made by hand by our leader.
