On Saturday 2nd of March we held our 3rd ever Venture Scout sleepover at our hall. The Monifieth Ventures can often think of nothing better than to have a sleepover in a cold, draughty hall on a stone floor, or if your lucky folded up on an old couch, no there's comfort for u!
This sleepover was a great laugh with us generally consuming lots of food and watching 2 videos which only 2 people remember what they were about, due to being the only ones not to have dozed off by 4.00am when they eventually ended. One of these was our youngest member, so well done to her!Maybe it was the fact that neither of them were very good and falling asleep was just an excuse, or maybe we were all tired out from trying to play a Simpsons game, which would have been good if a big bag of shortbread hadn't been such a distraction.
A Venture Sleepover is always a good addition to our programme and i hope they just get better and better!
Oh and there was the mysterious exploding hoover, would anyone with information concerning this incident please come forward as soon as possible and be prepared to give a full statement. |
