JUDAS

Judas, you who betrayed the man
The one you loved and followed after
After he died to the temple you ran

The bag of silver you threw
Back at the high-ranked hypocrites
For the truth is you knew

With invisible blood your hands are stained
The life of an innocent soul was lost
In the garden your heart is broken and pained

Too late forgiveness you sought
From the one who sacrificed
Against the Romans he hadn't fought

So in the end just as he
Your life was ended
Hanging on a tree
