LIFE

Unseen are the loved ones we hold in our hearts
Fond memories stay even after they've gone
No longer can we be by their side
Alone we now learn to face the dawn
Carry on the name, don't let them be forgotten
Keep their picture, plant a tree in a park
Do all you can to hold onto their memory
Share recollections, chase away the dark
Death is a door we all must face
Some are young, some old, ill and strong alike
Whether expected or a complete shock
Till we reach our destination, our journey's end
Looking back, see where you've been
Did you love, laugh, smile, make friends
Make the most of this life, you'll not get the chance again
