Manuel Montenegro
Manuel is a professional dancer from Colombia, now living in Edinburgh. In Colombia, he danced with
the Ballet Nacional and also worked with many other dance companies.
As well as teaching extensively in Scotland, he has also taught in the United States,
Spain, Belgium, France and Colombia.
Manuel has been living and working in Scotland since 1993 and has taught classes in salsa, merengue, cumbia, mambo, samba and other traditional latin american dances. He has been featured in a number of TV programmes and has performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Students from his classes have also taken part in various events in and around Edinburgh.
