1. The reproduction of the body system chosen within a human sized outline of the body.
2. An oral presentation telling the names and functions of the organs within the chosen body system.
Once you have chosen which system you will begin your study of that system keeping the following questions in mind:
*Where is this system located within the body?
*What is the function of this system on an individual basis?
*How does the function of this system aid or allow the proper function of other body systems?
*What are the organs contained within this system/what are the functions of the individual organs and how do they assist is the smooth function of the system they are a part of?
GET TO WORK!!!
1. Choose two other students to work with
2. Conduct an investigation using both the internet page provided and the media center.
3. Decide on a body system that your group will explore.
4. Keep a journal of important information that will assist you in your final project.
5. Decide on how your group will handle the oral component of your presentation.
6. Prepare a body outline by tracing one of the group members onto a large sheet of paper. (Get from teacher:-))
7. Reproduce and place organs within body outline. You may use colored paper, regular paper that is colored or painted, tissue paper etc. See teacher for help with supplies if necessary.
8. Label parts of your chosen system.
