A Tribute to The Scouts of our District

Scouting for Food

The Scouts of Montgomery District collected a total of 3844 pounds of food for the Food Pantrys in Montgomery County. The HOSA Club of West Montgomery High School pitched in to help the Scouts out.  The Units that participated were: Packs 37,80 and 81 Troops 37,61,80 and 81 and Crew 80

This was the first Food Drive in some time and the Distict Committee decided to do it again on an annual basis. The next planned Food Drive will be the month of April. The Following Awards were Awarded: 1st. Place Most Weight -Cub Scout Jeff Hancock-Pack 37 -  121 pounds 2nd Place Most Weight- Cub Scout Mark Batton Pack 37- 31 pounds 1st Place Most Weight Boy Scout John Haywood Troop 80- 815 pounds 2nd Place Most Weight Boy Scout Jarod Rodgers Troop 80 - 311 pounds 3rd Place Most Weight Boy Scout Cody Thompson Troop 80-117 pounds 1st Place Most Weight - Unit Troop 80- 1439 pounds 2nd Place Most Weight- Unit HOSA Club of West Montgomery High School 3rd Place Most Weight- Unit Troop 81- 597 pounds
