From a straight kick move to the outside of the kick (left) with both legs, scoop your right arm under the kick and lift upwards.
At the same time bring your left arm around uke's back , the lifting motion should continue whilst you kick uke's non attacking leg from under them. From a punch it is the same movement just without the leg lift. |
From a backhand punch step forwards with left foot so that you are beside uke whilst absorbing the attack with both of your forearms.
With your right hand take control of uke's wrist while moving your left hand around the head and taking hold of chin, whilst stepping clockwise backwards with your right foot . When balance is broken step anticlockwise backwards with left foot and hold uke's chin in close to your chest. They will fall over. |
From a straight punch move inside the attack stepping towards top right. From here step towards top left with left foot and at the same time take hold of uke's chin with your right hand and tip the balance all the way so uke is off balance .
Then simply reap their right leg with your right leg- calf to calf- hard and fast. |

From a straight punch move outside the attack. Take hold of uke's chin with your right hand and grip their sleeve with your left hand and take their balance.
Then reap their right leg with your right leg- calf to calf- hard and fast. |
From a straight kick, move inside and scoop their leg. Grip their lapel or sleeve, take their balance and reap their other leg from under them. From a punch it is the same movement just without the leg lift. |
From a straight punch, step inside with your left leg. Grip their arm with your left hand and shoulder with your right, then hook your right leg around theirs and pull it from under them. |
From a straight punch, step outside the attack with your right leg. Grip their arm with your left hand and shoulder with the right, then hook your left leg around theirs and pull it from under them. |
