Our Pets

We have three cats and a dog.
Sometimes I think John should be glumped in with the pets but there you have it.

Buddy is the eldest at 10 yrs old.
I adopted him in '95.
He had been abused and saved so of course he became mine.
He rules the roost as Top Cat.
He gets the prime position of furring up my soft pillow...
and is not shy about letting you know when he thinks it's time to eat.
Of course.. if it were left to Bud he'd eat 24/7.

Bronx was the second pet I adopted.
He was born the runt of the litter..
I saw him the day he was born and it was love at first sight.
He really acts like a stereotypical middle child as well.
He will complain if the others pick on him.
I love him dearly but have knicknamed him evil.
He loves to try to escape the house when you least expect it.

Kit was the third pet I adopted, and the last cat.
I fell in love with her the moment I saw her.
But I swear to god she is possessed.
She adores John and Jaimee.
And I think she would cheerfully eliminate me if she could.
She also enjoys crucifying the poor dog.

Bailey is my lap puppy.
She just celebrated her 1st birthday on Aug.15th.
I had waited forever to find her ..
And then she choose me.
I adore her like no other.
She's as dumb as a post at times
but perhaps that's what makes her so endearing.
I can more then relate with my blonde actions at times.
She has the patience of a Saint when it comes to mags as well.
No matter what she does to her
all Bailey will do is turn around and kiss her.
I'm dead proud of all i've taught her as well.
She speaks or whispers on command
and you haven't lived til she has hugged you.
Yes... she has been trained to come when you are sat
and give you a nice big hug.

Bronx has now moved in with my brother for a bit. I am trying to start to prepare for England and Matt thought he might like to adopt him. I don't know if it will last though as Matt has allergies and Bronx is a hands on cat.. I miss him though and he always has a place here if he wants it..
