Great meet to start the year. Ran the meet a little late due
to late entries, the mail was terrible this month. All the late entries
were postmarked
far enough ahead that they should have made it on time. The dice
were terrible to some of you. Hope everyone comes back next month.

run but moving nicely
Mp 5 Dakota's Touch(KM) 3f 115 by 2 1/4 behind the leaders, but
trapped on the rail, no where to run
Up 6 Lyrical Miss(MM) 3f 115 by 1/2 laid midpack, had trouble
in traffic on turn, faded
FTS 7 Serengeti Wolf(ME) 3f 115 broke greenly, lost valuable
ground, didn't have time to catch up

ran out of ground

moving in time, needed race

had traffic trouble and never got a chance to run

**most of the horses in this race were closers; RN set slow easy fractions
up front and they just didn't have a chance to catch her

wide to avoid traffic, coming hard at end

had to go very wide to attempt run, ran out of ground
MW 7 Rubies Sparkle(RO) 3f 116 by 1 1/2 raced midpack, had to
check to avoid incident on turn
AW 8 Pleasant Tropic(KR) 3f 118 by 3 1/2 midpack, but trapped
in traffic, bumped hard with IC, fell back
MW 9 Ice Cap(ND) 3f 116 stuck midpack in traffic jam, bumped
hard with PT, fell back

**very well matched field. Anyone could have been the winner
and the dice were brutal to some of these horses.

**This race was terrible for closers, extremely slow fractions up front
left the leaders with plenty of run at the end and it left the closers
no way to catch up.
