I have restructed my purse distribution system to be more like real racetracks.  My track now offers 5th place earnings too.
I ran my first G1 this meet and it was an experience.  I do not know how other stewards can run G1s all the time, I definetely
appreciate other stewards even more now.  This was the hardest race I've ever run and its terrible that all of these great
fillies couldn't have won.

Fools Rush In got the perfect trip, while racing 2 wide, she laid just off the early leaders and responded eagerly when asked by her jockey.  She had
enough to hold off Perchance.  Perchance raced a little further back then normal, moved up nicely to engage Fools Rush In, while holding off a tough
Cova de Ira.  Cova de Ira stalked the early pace, tried gamely to the wire to get past the top 2.  The top 3 opened up a fair distance on the rest of the field.
Ultraspiel rated in midpack, hung on far turn, and couldn't make up the distance the others had opened up on her when she did make her move.
Lavishly missed the break and stumbled badly, she almost lost her jockey and lost all contention after that.  Theda Bara refused to sit off the pace,
pressing Alto Voltaje[ARG] through sharp fractions.  Alto Voltaje[ARG] went straight to the lead at the break and tried to go wire to wire.  These two
faded down the stretch.
