There will be a short memorial service at Andersonville National Cemetery at 11am on Monday, Nov. 20th. Anyone who would like to attend is very welcome to do so. You will have to check at the outside chapel for the location of Dad's service. I am sorry I forgot to add this information.

We used to be Mr. and Mrs. Fugate’s neighbors. My Mom and Dad have already gone home so when Mr. Fugate got home I know he saw them up there. Back then I really didn’t get to know Mr. Fugate but later I went to church in Dry Branch and I got to know him better. He was such a darling person. Everybody really liked him and this is really neat, the children and young people were just crazy about him! My prayers are with you all during your loss but remember that he is home at last!

I am so saddened by the death of Mr. Fugate. He was a sweet, sweet man who loved God. He also had a genuine love for children. I attended church with Mr. Fugate for 5 yrs., and he was always there giving out peppermint candy to the children, as well as adults. My heart goes out to Mrs Mary, and his entire family. May God watch over you, and keep you during this time of sorrow. We love you.
