It's the Scorpion which symbolizes Scorpios, and it's no accident. Much like the Scorpion would rather kill itself than be killed; those born under this Sign are the ones who are in ultimate control of their destiny. It is life on the Scorpion's terms, too, since these folks promote their agenda (they are quite the executives) and see to it that things go forward. Others may find this overbearing (it can be) and even self-destructive, but that's the beauty of the Scorpion: these folks have tremendous regenerative powers; much like the literal Scorpion can lose its tail and promptly grow a new one. Fearless Scorpions rarely lose, per se, they just keep on going, since they are stubborn and determined to succeed (this Scorpio trait is in keeping with the Fixed Quality assigned to this Sign). Scorpios work as hard as they do so they can someday sit back and feel satisfied with themselves. These folks are intense, passionate and filled with desire. They're also complex and secretive, so don't expect to get much out of them, lest they become suspicious and exit stage left. - Personality

Likes:

> Music – Leiko loves to listen to, and play music. She plays the oboe at grade 8 standard and the Alto Saxophone at grade 5, and uses this to relax. She has her own soundproof practice room in the attic above her wing of the mansion. She’s never been truly able to compose her own music, which offsets her technical ability, but this has never deterred her from try many times. She often plays with her brother as Kyoshi plays the Piano and the Tenor Saxophone, and both share a love of jazz music.

>Her tree house – As a rather tomboyish child, her and her brother loved to climb the trees in their garden, and had a tree house in the oldest and largest of the oak trees. The tree house was rather palatial compared to your average tree hut, but it still stands today and Leiko likes to go up there sometimes just to get away from everyone. Its roof is properly damp-proof, and it’s quite snug, so she can sleep up there if she gets into a really bad mood. There’s a small camp bed, and a couple of cushions to sit on

> Gymnastics – When Leiko began her dancing classes, she also took up gymnastics to help with her flexibility and strength in dancing. She always liked gym more than dancing, as it presents more interest and challenge than dancing alone. She excels at floor exercises, as it is rather similar to dancing as it is highly choreographed, but she prefers to use the bars due to her dislike of dancing.

> Shopping – One of the few things that cause her to slip unintentionally into “rich girl” mode is going shopping, especially for clothes and sheet music. Her closet is bulging with clothes she’s bought and never worn, or has only worn once. She loves buying t-shirts and jumpers, and has so many she’s probably lost count. Her favourite shops are mainly top-label stores, Thrae’s equivalent of Gucci and the like. Her favourite outfit is also her most expensive, consisting of a black off-the-shoulder jumper and slightly scruffy looking pre-aged jeans.

Dislikes:

> Her Parents – Leiko despises her mother, mainly because of the fact that she doesn’t really want anything to do with Leiko and Kyoshi and only really talk to them when they have to. Looking after “the children” is a job for the help. Kyoshi has never held this against his mother though, as it seems that Leiko holds grudges more easily and for longer than he does.

> Meat – Leiko is vegetarian, but not a hugely strict one. She’ll eat fish, and butter and other dairy products, but the sight of raw red meat makes her nauseous. She also feels sick if she touches any raw meat, be it red or not.

> Dancing classes – Leiko started dancing classes when she was five, starting with ballet, modern, and tap. Her mother encouraged her to do these classes and she carries them on in the hope that her mother will pay more attention to her if she does. She hates modern with a vengeance, as her teacher picks on her if she makes the slightest mistake. She has complained to her mother about this, but her modern teacher is a friend of her mother and Marise won’t listen to Leiko’s protests.

> Her hair – Some days she counts it as her crowning glory, but more usually she thinks of it as the most disobedient pile of rubbish ever to grace the face of the earth. As her hair is wavy, and rather long it seems to acquire volume from nowhere, as when it is wet her it is quite thin. Most of her “friends” in school would kill for Leiko’s hair, but lately she has been considering cutting it short, even though she knows it will turn into a short curly mess if she does.

> Men/Women dressed up in animal suits – Leiko dislikes this because it unnerves her slightly. She doesn’t really understand why grown men or women would want to actually get inside a smelly hot costume and do anything, as she did it once for a school play (she was a bear) and she hated it. The costume made her itch and sweat, and quite frankly she felt stupid, so she refused to ever wear one again.

Fears:

> Staurophobia – Fear of crucifixes. Leiko was in a church when she was little when she saw a huge crucifix, which was almost twice as high as her. As she stood looking up at it, it started to rock (as it was just stood up on the floor) and as the priest pulled her away it fell where she had been, shattering and hitting her with fragments of pottery (it had been crafted by a local sculptor as a donation for the church). She has been scared of crucifixes ever since, and is uncomfortable in churches.

> Peanuts – She’s violently allergic to peanuts. The first time she ever had them she went into shock as her throat and mouth swelled up and she had trouble breathing. She was rushed to hospital and spent two weeks as she recovered from her reaction. Since then she has been understandably aware of what she is eating.

Dreams:

Leiko has many short term goals, the biggest being to graduate from Meiyo High and be accepted into the university to study. She is unsure what exactly she wants to study, but she’s sure she’ll make up her mind when the time comes.

She also has a huge crush on a boy in her school, but she refuses to tell any who he is. Leiko has liked him since she first met him in her first year at Meiyo but she won’t say anything to him. [Possibly developed in game?]

As for when she grows up, she wishes to be a concert oboist, preferably in a large symphony orchestra. She loves her music very much and takes it rather seriously. Her parents want her to go into something with larger money prospects and less attention to her, possibly a business woman or something in that vein.

Do you want to be a bird? Anything really. No, not the dream he or she has had 're occurring'. Any special dream he or she wants to live out or wanted to grow up to be? Any reason why? Is there something he or she wishes he or she can do but can't? Does he or she happen to have a secret dream?

Hobbies: Leiko plays her oboe a lot, as it helps her to relax. She picked up her hobby when in elementary school as her nanny thought she needed something to “stop her pouting and being bored”. Other than that she enjoys just sitting and talking to her brother, as he is one of the few people that sees the real Leiko beneath the put on snobby persona she wears for school.

Fashion design is another of her hobbies, as she reckons that if you enjoy shopping and clothes as much as she does, it’s only natural that

Yes, this is different. What does he or like to do in his or her spare time? Where did he or she pick up the hobby? Does your character read? A lot? A little? Chooses to ignore the fact there are books in the world? How about an obsession?

Over All: In public, Leiko seems to be the quintessential little rich girl, slightly snobby, rather elitist, and incredibly cold. She has never been a crowd-pleaser per-se, except from a distance as she is quite pretty. She finds this rich girl act a little tiring sometimes, and she can get rather angry and snap at people very quickly. This doesn’t happen very often though, and usually most of her schoolmates see her as a perfect fit-in in the school. Leiko enjoys school, especially textiles lessons, as she enjoys fashion and seems to be naturally talented at sewing. Her least favourite subject is languages, partially because she has trouble with grammar in foreign languages, and partially because she hates the teacher.

How do they feel about love? And life? And also, relationships? Do they wish for any or disgust them all or just some? What's their ideal lover? What is it they wish/hope for?

Senshi Duties.
How do they feel as a senshi? And the fighting? What about the enemies they have to face? Are they comfortable with how they are, or confused? Cool? Angered? Sad? What? Do NOT put how they act AS a Senshi, that's for Alter Ego below. But you may explain how they feel about the difference of their senshi side oppose to the civilian, if there is a difference.

The Extra Touch.
What else is there to him or her? Any quirky habits? Oddness to them? (NOT WEIRD. Never put "weird", "strange" or "creepy", to you it may be but it could be cool to someone else, however you can gesture to it or whatever.) Favourite word or line, maybe a place or time of year?

This is all just to help you, add in or mix up whatever you wish. These are all parts to a basic personality, so it'd be a very good idea if you add a little something from each section. At least three or five paragraphs AT LEAST. Make us want to grab and squeeze your character like a plushie. Good or bad, make it interesting.

- Appearance

Hair: Usually dyed gingery, with slight blonde tones, although it is naturally mousy brown. It is quite wavy, and hangs to her waist unless straightened (which takes quite a long time). She has a slight fringe which she always has straightened. This hangs to just above her eyes, and does irritate her if she lets it grow too long.

Eyes: Leiko has large, innocent looking dark green eyes with thick lashes. Her lashes are, however, pale brown in colour, so she uses darker brown mascara to accentuate them.

Face/head: Leiko has quite a round face, which adds to her “innocent” look. Skin is even toned, and for the most part spot-free (she got into being a teenager rather luckily ^_^ ). She has a rather small, button nose and average sized lips – not too thin or too full.

Voice: Her voice is quite quiet, and for the most part low down in the average girls range. When she sings (if anyone hears her) her voice is clear and high, and much louder. She is rather shy about singing in public,

Build: Leiko is quite short for her age, coming in at about 5ft, 5ft 1ins-ish, and weighing approx 8 ½ st. She carries herself with confidence and grace, which is a result of her ballet and gymnastic training. Her arms and legs are quite toned,

Marks: Small tattoo of a scorpion on her left ankle, on the outside. It’s just a small black outline, about 2ins long and 1ins high.

Style: Leiko has never really gone in for the “rich kid” look, except when she is at school, when she wears the most expensive uniform that money can buy and is one the best groomed girls in her year.

- Details

Family:

> Mother – Hanaki, Marise. – 38yrs. Yumi was a beauty queen in her youth, but is now a devoted socialite. She spends as little of her time with her daughter as possible, preferring to gossip and chatter with her “friends”. The social position that her husbands job afforded suits her nicely, and she takes her position as “lady of leisure” rather seriously. Her appearance is totally different to her daughter, with wavy black hair, brown eyes and very slight, thin build.

> Father – Hanaki, Suzu. – 40yrs. Suzu is the brother of a diplomat, and the President of a computer company. He spends little time at home as he devotes himself to his job. He does miss his daughter though, and lavishes presents on her to try and compensate for his lack of time. He looks more like his daughter, with a slim and short but athletic build, deep green eyes, and mousey-brown straight hair.

> Brother – Hanaki, Kyoshi. – 16yrs. Kyoshi is Leiko’s twin brother and almost her total opposite. He loves his sister dearly, but is often in conflict with her over her sometimes snappish and arrogant manner. He has never held his parents absence against them, and the servants often remark that he seems much older and more mature than his sister. He looks very similar to his sister, with his short soft brown hair, although it is slightly darker than Leiko’s natural shade. His big green eyes look slightly out of place on his slightly muscled and rather lanky frame.

Home: Leiko lives in one of the most exclusive area of the city; in a house which would probably be best described a mansion, and rather a big one at that. She and her brother have their own set of rooms on the south side of the house, which comprises a kitchenette, bathroom, three bedrooms, a study/games room, and a small living room. The Kitchenette is Kyo’s favourite room,

The ‘servants’ wing is on the ground floor, below the children’s rooms. This wing consists of three bathrooms, three bedrooms (double rooms, two single sex, one with a married couple).

History: When was he or she born? Born with any problems? Where was he or she born? Any events in schooling? Or events that turned your character into who he or she is today? Moments of embarrassment? Moments of pain? Moments of happiness or love? Just memories they'll never forget? What was your character's first job? Did he or she do any stupid things when he or she was younger? What hurt will he or she never forgive? Did someone do something to him or her? Why can't he or she forgive them? Was it a small thing, something like a hurtful comment by a family member or friend? Is it large, like physically hurt or abused? How does he or she live up to the present? Any current job?

* We ask just a few of these things... Do not say your Senshi had dreams or was raised to be a Senshi or 'she just knew'. Guardians shall find your character reveal who he or she really is. History should be primarily on who he or she is as a Civilian. Got it?

Theme: Neko noticed some like little midi themes for their characters, so she decided to add it to the form. It gives it a little spunk. Midi format only, please.

Senshi Stats

Title: Sailor Apple (Seeraa Ringo)

Element: Wood; Plants, blossoms, nature

Colours:

> Main - #379037 – Dark, dark green.

> Secondary - # FFFF66– Pale yellow.

> Accent - #80FF80 – Pale Peppermint Green.

Symbol: Apple’s symbol is rather simple, just a small outline of her fruit.

Advantages: Leiko is rather agile and fast, as a result of her gymnastic and dance training. She also works well as a part of a team.

Disadvantages: She has a great elemental disadvantage against fire and fire-based attacks, and she isn’t very hot on defence as she relies on her speed. Her pure physical power and the damage she delivers from a punch are quite low

Style: Her fighting style is rather graceful and flowing, owing to her dancing and gymnastic training. Her legs are her strongest form of physical attack, and she often flies into a series of graceful but rather strong (for her) kicks. She prefers to fight with her weapon as it increases her hitting power and give her a bit of an extended reach.

Alter Ego: She becomes considerably more confident in her skills and her allies when in senshi form; she also seems to develop a slight cruel streak where her enemies are concerned.

- Uniform and Transformation

Hair Ornaments: None.

Gloves: She doesn’t have gloves, simply plan green bracelets. They are about an inch wide, and made out of slightly stiffened cotton, like the body of her fuku.

Shoes: Her shoes are soft, silk slippers with ribbons wrapping up her legs. They have green leather soles, which are quite thin so she can feel the ground beneath her feet.

Extra: Well, have any other bright ideas? Maybe some jewellery?

Transformation Device: A small emerald apple-shaped pendant, which hangs on a thin silver chain. Even though she appears to snap the chain every time she transforms, the chain is intact when she de-transforms.

Transformation Phase: "Apple Fruit Power!" or "Ringo Kudamono Powaa!”

She snaps off her necklace and throws it into the air, the apple-shaped pendant expanding to just larger than a normal apple. She begins to smirk and spins once, holding her apple between her hands with her arms outstretched. She then drops her apple and it explodes in a puff of petals, totally obscuring her form. When the petals clear a couple of seconds later she’s stood there in her fuku with her staff resting on her shoulder and looking rather cocky.

Challenge: “I am Sailor Apple, senshi of the wood. In the name of all that’s natural, I shall restore order!”

- Powers and Weapons

Power One: Name - Description. Only one power to start out with, so make it count. Put the name of the power in also... Describe what it looks like... What does it do... Etc. More powers come with the Arcs. If you come in during the second season, no, you don't get two powers. -.-

Weapons: Apple’s weapon is a staff, although it has been remarked that it looks more like a branch straight from a tree. It is 4ft 6ins ling, and as thick as a grown mans arm. In the hands of anyone but Apple, it seems to weigh so much more than it should and it seems ungainly and difficult to use. When wielded by Apple however, it seems lighter and more graceful, although

Abilities: Due to her connection and affinity to nature and plant life, she can feel the growth of plants, and anything that impedes this. To do this she must concentrate steadily upon the plant, preferably while touching it.

Image: It helps us greatly. You can make a KiSS, pixel doll, or whatever. It doesn't matter how bad it is (Trust us, we really DO understand...) as long as you provide one, you'll impress us. Full body would be also greatly appreciated.
