"Amy, will you please see me after school?" Mr. Grayson, asked his top student during math class as the class ‘ohh'ed. "Oh don’t worry she’s not in trouble," He told the class and they groaned.
"Ok, Mr. Grayson" Amy accepted the offer to meet him after school.
/*AFTER SCHOOL*/
"Yes Mr. Grayson?" Amy asked as she approached her teacher’s desk.
"Well Amy," he began, "you know that you are my top student and favorite to teach," Amy blushed. "So if you would like extra credit, I have a proposition for you."
"Um… what is the extra credit?"
"Tutoring."
"Tutoring?"
"Yes, tutoring, you will be tutoring two exchange students from Tokyo."
"I don’t know Mr. Grayson…"
"Come on Amy, they only need help in math. They are fine in everything else."
Amy sighed, "How long?"
"Two weeks"
"Well, ok, I guess, what have I to lose?"
"Exactly! I like that spirit! Meet them tomorrow in the library after school. Bye and have a nice day." Amy left the room in deep thoughts. She hadn’t ever tutored before, nevertheless, she would try. After all, what had she to lose?
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
"What are you doing here?" A blonde haired girl with odd pigtails on her head screeched to the dark haired guy across from her.
"It’s a library Meatball head! Keep it down!" He retorted, using a name that she obviously didn’t like.
"I told you not to call me that! Ugh! Do you like, follow me everywhere?" She glared at him.
"Like, no" He smirked as he made fun of the way she talked. She growled at him.
"Lay off! You tease me at home, and now you follow me on the exchange program. You should be careful, people might actually think you LIKE me!"
"Me? Like you? Whatever! -" The man was cut off by a soft voice.
"Excuse me, are you Usagi Tsukino and Mamoru Chiba?" The blue haired girl inquired, looking at them.
"Yes," the girl named Usagi replied, looking at Mamoru questioningly.
"Oh great!" The girl sighed with relief, and her blue eyes sparkled. "I’m Amy, your tutor."
"Hey cool!" Usagi squealed.
"Lower the decibel’s Meatball head," Mamoru gritted his teeth and smiled at Amy.
"Hey! I told you not to call me that! And I didn’t know that the all mighty need TUTORING" Usagi burst into peals of laughter while Mamoru looked away.
"You can call me my American name, Darien, and you can call her Meatball head." Usagi shot up like a cannon ball at the sound of the hated name.
"No, you can call me Serena, and him Little Wimpy Protector" Amy looked confused so Serena explained. "His name in English means Protector of Earth… you get it?" Amy finally understood.
"You can also call her Little Bunny Fufu" At Amy’s glance, he too, explained, "Her name means Bunny in English."
Amy had a devious plan hatching in her head. They both like each other, it’s obvious. I mean, who else would know what their enemy’s name meant? I can use these tutoring sessions to help them learn math… and that they like each other.
"Brilliant Amy!" Amy shouted out and Serena and Darien stopped arguing and looked at her bewildered. "Um, sorry, talking to myself," She blushed. "But now that I got your attention, lets hit the books!"
"Right"
"Ok"
"So you’re having trouble in Les mathématiques?"
"HUH?" Darien asked, very confused.
"Mathematics."
"Oh!"
"Well, that’s why we are here!" Serena said cheerfully while Darien rolled his eyes.
"Ignore her," He told Amy, "She’s always like this… unfortunately for us."
"Hey!" Serena snuck her tongue out and he his.
"Break it up you to!" Yes, they have it bad for each other, "Are we in kindergarden or high school."
"Well, judging on her behavior kindergarden,"
"With his behavior, I’d say la préscolaire!"
"You know French?" Darien asked Serena surprised.
"No shit Sherlock,"
"Keep diggin' Watson" Darien replied smoothly. "No really?"
"Of course! Where do you think I get my blondenss from? My Japanese dad?"
"Your mental blondeness or your physical blondeness?"
"What do you think dumbass?"
"Both"
"Ooh! You better not have insulted my mom!"
"And if I did?"
"Then you’re dead! Big time!" Serena leaped at him with her hand out and Darien caught her wrists gracefully. He pulled her close and Serena’s heart leapt. She gasped slightly as Darien lowered his head down towards hers.

Serena gasped slightly as Darien lowered his head down towards hers. He touched her shoulder and flicked something off.

"You had something on you shoulder and it was annoying me," he explained and Serena nodded.

`Something on her shoulder? There was nothing!' Amy thought excitedly. There was defiantly something going on between them.

"Why don't you tell me about yourself so I get to know you?" Amy suggested. Serena nodded and Darien looked hesitant. Suddenly three girls entered the library loudly and spotted Amy. They started walking towards her.

"Amy Lamberts?" one of them asked and she nodded.

"Cool!"

"You're supposed to help us with math," the third explained and Amy raised her eyebrows. Exactly how many people was she going to have to tutor?

A blonde haired girl with a big red bow stepped forward. Her baby blue eyes with lit up mischievously.

"I'm Mina Sanders," she said introducing herself. She winked in Darien's direction and he winked back. Serena, who had seen the whole exchange, grew pink with a tinge of envy and Mina, who saw this, wondered if there was something between them.

"Raye Hino," a black haired girl spoke up quietly, her violet eyes strayed to Darien. "Pleasure to meet you," she purred into Darien's ear as she walked to him. He coughed and Serena rolled her eyes, she couldn't have been more obvious.

"Lita Green," she shook hands with him and he was surprised to find that she had an awfully strong grip for a girl her age. "You know, you look a lot like my old boyfriend Kenny..." she was hit on the head by Raye.

"Lita, we don't want to hear about you boyfriend... for the 500^th time again!" Raye shouted at her.

"Excuse me!" the librarian walked up to them, "This is a library, please leave!" the group made faces at each other and trudged out solemnly.

"By the way, what's your name?" Mina asked Serena as they headed out.

"Serena,"

"Are you going out with Darien?" Raye asked curiously.

"ME! AND HIM!" Serena shrieked, "EW! Definitely not!" she wrinkled her face up disgustedly. While she was freaking out about them thinking she was going out with Darien, she wasn't paying attention and tripped down the stairs.

Serena felt herself falling, the something soft caught her.

"Ugh, that really hurt," she muttered.

"You ok?" her savior asked worriedly. Serena turned around to see that Darien was holding her in his arms and they were extremely close to each other. A little too close for her.

She jumped out of his arms and fell back on the stairs, she winced. "I think I really sprained my ankle,"

Darien knelt down, "Let me see," he examined her ankle carefully. "Yeah, it's starting to swell up, you may want to go to the doctor for that."

Serena groaned, "Crap, the people I'm staying with aren't home yet,"

Darien thought for a second, "Well, I brought my car with me so I can give you a ride,"

"You brought your car?!" Serena shook her head, she was in too much pain and agony to argue with him.

"Here, let me help you," he grabbed her hand and lifted her up. They said bye to everyone else and with Darien's help, Serena leaned on him and hobbled to his car with their new friends staring after them.

A silence passed between them before Amy spoke up.

"Aren't they in love?"

"I call dibs on Darien if they aren't," Raye said and this time Lita smacked her on the head.

"Yeah, I think they really do like each other," Mina said thoughtfully and Lita agreed.

"We should set them up," Lita suggested and Amy stared at her.

"That's brilliant!"

"Cool, so we'll be learnin' math and settin' people up! That's my idea of a lesson!" Mina said excitedly and the others sweat dropped.

"I have an idea," Amy said, she motioned for the other's to come closer and whispered her idea out.

~NEXT DAY~

"Hey Serena!"

"Hey Mina!" Serena said as she joined Mina as they walked to their next class. "What's up?"

"Nothin' much, you?"

"Swamped, my parent's are thinking of moving here,"

"Really? That's so cool!"

"Yeah, I know,"

"What about Darien?" Mina asked curiously.

"What about him?"

"Are his parent's moving here also?"

"He doesn't have any parents." Serena said shortly, not looking at Mina who had stopped.

"Oh my god," Mina gasped out and Serena kept walking.

"Can we change the subject?" Serena asked testily and Mina looked at her sideways, why should she be bothered that Darien's parents are dead?

"So what are you swamped with?"

"Taiko drum lessons,"

"That's so cool!"

"Yea, it's really fun to play, also I have football practice,"

"Football?"

"Yea, I'm gonna tryout for the team so I have to practice," Serena said as they entered the classroom.

"Wow," was all Mina could say and Serena smiled a bit.

"That's what other's said too, back in Tokyo, I was on the team. Starter also." They sat down and waited for the teacher to take roll.

"So how do you know English so well?"

"I was born here,"

"But I thought you said you were from Japan,"

"I moved there when I was 1," Serena explained and Mina nodded her head understandingly.
"Yeah, same with Raye. Her parents own a shire in Tokyo but moved here so she could get more job opportunities. You know, that crap." Serena laughed and muttered something under her breath.

"What?" Mina asked, but the teacher had already finished roll, and if she wasn't mistaken, Mina was pretty sure that Serena had said something like, "At least she has parents." She shook her head confused and her mind wondered back to the teacher and forgot about that incident for a little bit.

~SAME TIME~

"So Darien, what sports do you play?"

"Try everything,"

"Really? Me too! Except for basketball and football," Lita smiled.

"Serena plays football," he commented as they walked to class.

"That's so cool! Does she play anything else?"

"Uhuh, the same sports as me,"

"Are you guys put on the same team?" Lita asked as they entered the room.

"Yeah, usually, she was the only girl on the team, so I had to protect her from the rest of the guys," he smiled at the memories.

"Does she have any musical talents?"

"Yup, she plays Taiko Drums, and sings."

"Wow, superwoman," Lita commented impressed.

"Yeah, but now she only does football and Taiko Drums,"

"Really? Why?" a curious brunette, who had been listening, asked.

"It's been like that for five years now," Darien shrugged. "Ever since something happened..." he trailed off.

"What? What?" Lita asked eagerly.

"I don't want to talk about it." Darien said shortly and Lita sighed. Just when she was getting the juice. They turned around and started listening to the teacher. Amy was going to be disappointed. Or would she?
