"Serena, we've been dating for 3 years and they have been magical, but I am not ready to be comitted to someone, especially you," Andrew said to me. Was I hearing correctly? Had my steady boyfriend of 3 years just dumped me? I was in complete shock. I felt a hot tear roll down my cheek.

"You know what? I'd love to kick the sh!- out of you right now, but I'm not going to sink to your level. You go see other people and I will too. I will find someone sooo much better you bastard!" I said. With that, I gathered my things and left him in his living room grinning with a lost stare. I slammed the door behind me and made my way back to the dorms. Nothing was going right today. Him dumping me was just the perfect way to end it. I turned the corner and being the klutz I am, I ran into someone.

"I'm sorry, are you ok?" a man said. I looked up and I saw a gorgeous man that took my breath away. My cheeks felt hot and I was getting this weird feeling in my stomach.

"I'm ok, thanks. Are you ok?" I asked this mystery man. He smiled warmly at me. "I'm fine. Hey, um, I'm new around here. Do you know where the campus is by any chance?" Wow, a hot guy headed my way. I don't think this day will be so bad...

"Actually, I'm on my way there. Would you like to join me?" I asked. Wait, what was I thinking? I didn't even know this guy and I had offered to escort him to my college. What is wrong with me?...oh well, too late. He is about to give me an answer... "Are you sure? I appreciate this alot. By the way, I didn't catch your name. I'm Darien Sheilds." What a mysterious name...

"I'm Serena Tsukino. Nice to meet you Darien." We finally got to the campus and it was really dark. We talked like we had known each other forever! (Funny how karma works)

"Well Serena, I can't thank you enough for showing to the campus. In fact, I'd like to treat you to lunch tomorrow, if that's ok with you," Darien said to me. My heart was racing and I felt all warm and fuzzy inside.

"Oh, you really don't have to buy me lunch, Darien. It was no problem to take you here." My heart ached at me for saying that, which up to this point, I honestly don't know why.

"Well if it was no problem for you to take me here, then it shouldn't be a big problem for me to take you to lunch. Here's my cell #. Just call me when you're ready and I'll come pick you up, ok?" I was melting in his gaze and the fact that one piece of paper with numbers on it could make me flush as much as I felt I was at this moment was unbelieveable. Getting a grip, I took the piece of paper. He glanced at me with a sexy smile and I thought I was going to die. I blushed furiously and finally got the words out,

"You are too kind. I will call you tomorrow." I gave him one of my special smiles and I walked away without looking back at him.

I got into my dorm and luckily my dormmate, Amber, wasn't there. She is so nosey at times and I REALLY didn't want her to snoop around in something as special as this. On the other hand, she was a really great listener when I needed her to be. I think that's what kept me from wanting to kill her everytime she read my journal...Anyways, I sat on my favorite chair and just relaxed. I still had Darien's number in the palm of my hand. I wasn't sure if I could pull this off. I headed for my room and took out my odangos. They were killing me. I think I twisted them too tightly today. I started to brush my long hair which reached my ankles. I thought about cutting it because I think it's WAY too long, but my mother insists that I leave as it is. Luna, my cat, curled up next to me. I put Darien's number on my nightstand. I put on some soccer shorts and a tank top and slipped into bed to wait for tomorrow to come. I doubt I'll get any sleep tonight... Of all days, I slept in today. I got up quickly. I looked at my clock...10:17AM...and then through my closet for something to wear. I realized I had to take a shower, but Amber was using it. 'I'm not going to get any of the hot water, am I?' I thought to myself. So I put off my shower and continued to look for an outfit. I was feeling so nervous trying to look so perfect, but I knew Darien was worth it. We hit it off immediately. I was really excited for once in my life. I felt that I would be so over Andrew within a week, maybe even less. I thought I actually loved that scum bag, but I was very, very wrong. Finally! An outfit; I found some beige capris and a black spaghetti top. Now for the shoes...Aha! Black flip flops...oh yeah, stylin'! I heard Amber go to her room and I went into the bathroom. I finished my shower at about 11 and then got dressed. I didn't know which way I shou;d have put my hair up, but I was running out of time. It was already 11:42AM...I know, how about odangos?!?! So original, I know. I was all done and went to go get Darien's number. I sighed, trying to exhale my nervousness and anxiety. "Hello," Darien greeted. He sounded a little different over the phone, but I scolded myself mentally for being so observant about everything.

"Hi Darien, this is Serena. I hope I didn't call you too late. How are you?" I sounded so cheesy, but can you blame me? I glanced at my clock. It read 11:47AM...slick.

"Hey Serena! I'm doing pretty well, how about you? And no, you called me at the perfect time. I'm just at this arcade I found." He sounded so casual. I didn't understand how he did it, but it made me feel even more nervous.

I didn't believe what was happening. Was it possible that Andrew was cheating on me while we were together? The thought made my eyes water. I blinked them away. I didn't want Darien to see my cry. We were in his car on our way to the arcade. Wait, the arcade?!!?! That's where Andrew worked...My breathes became faster in pace and I felt my palms grow sweaty. Darien parked his car across the street. We got out and crossed the street to the arcade. I walked almost behind Darien. I felt like a complete idiot, but I didn't want to see Andrew. I looked over Darien's broad shoulder and I saw Andrew. 'Sh!t!' I screamed mentally, but then when I looked over Darien's other shoulder, I saw a girl. Andrew was caressing her face and hand. She was giggling with delight. Darien and I stepped through the sliding doors. "Hey Darien! How's the college life treatin' ya?" Andrew asked. He obviously didn't see me, but then again, I rushed to the bathroom and hid in a stall.

"Andrew, babe, I'm gonna use the bathroom, ok?" the woman told Andrew. She came along and brought her friend to do their make-up. I heard that annoying giggle and then shuffling through a bag.

"OMG, how did you guys keep it under wraps for 2 years??" the friend asked Andrew's "friend" supposedly. I kept my sobs quiet and listened "accidentally".

"Well, he was with this TOTAL ditz and she was oblivious to it. He told me she had these stupid odangos on top of her head all the time, I mean come on! What guy like Andrew would want to be with something like that when he can have something like me?" she said.

"Misty, you're so bad! Hahaha" Misty's friend said. My God. That was his mistress. He chose a slut like that and stuck with her for 2 years? Jesus (Is a good guy)! What is wrong with me?!? Well wait a minute...If Darien is friends with Andrew, he might be just like him. I mean Darien reminds me of Andrew as far as mannerisms go. I don't think (and I know this) that Andrew could come close to Darien's looks. I took out my odangoes, put my hair in a very long pony tail, and stepped out of the stall casually. I almost stomped to the sink. I washed my hands, Misty on my right side and her friend on the left. There was only one sink, so yeah... I went to shake the excess water off of my hands. Well, you're supposed to do it at the sink right? Unfortunately for them, they didn't move. So I shook my hands like I was having a seisure. Yay for me, I got some on each. I'm glad I have 2 hands ::Wink wink::. I left them with pissed off looks and came back out for Darien.

"Hey, there you are!" Darien smiled warmly at me. I had no choice but to smile at him back, just as warmly. "I want you to meet my best friend, Andrew. Andy, this is Serena." he said as he introduced us. I felt very VERY uncomfortable around this man. Andrew went deathly pale and there was silence. I felt my cheeks get very warm. My head was spinning. Finally I sputtered out some words.

"You have a GREAT selection, and I mean GREAT," I said sarcastically to Andrew.

"Do... you 2 know eacother?" Darien asked curiously.

"Oh, we go back a few years," Andrew said quite nervously.

"I met your long-lost "cousin", Misty, that you just HAD to spend quality time with every month, starting the 2nd year of our relationship. It's really quite funny. She says YOU said my odangoes looked so stupid...but Andrew, that's not what you said on our vacation to Tahiti. You are such a horrible liar, among many other things---Don't study to be a lawyer if you ever go to college." I retorted. With that, I apologized to Darien and I promside to call him the next day. I practically waltzed out of the arcade, taking my hair of this stupid pony tail, and let my hair flow freely. The tears just added to the drama. Now I was jogging. I didn't want to be around or talk to anyone. I finally got to the dorms. I was fumbling with my keys and I couldn't see what I was doing. I finally got my key through the slot. Amber was on the couch watching TV...Thank God

"You poor thing," Amber said to me. My eyes were bloodshot from crying so much. Amber went to go and hug me. I was so grateful to have her as a roommate. I had absolutely no clue that Andrew as cheating on me. I felt like such a fool at that point. How stupid could I have been to not suspect that my relationship was TOO perfect and that my boyfriend MIGHT have been cheating on me? My thoughts were interrupted when the phone rang. Amber got it. I turned on the TV and flipped the channels for something to watch. Soap opera...Talk show...Cooking...Show...Music Videos. Nothing was on.

"Serena, it's for you. A lady; says her name is Rei..." Amber called to me from the kitchen.

"Thanks, I'll get it in my room," I replied to her. I switched off the TV and went to my room. I picked up the phone.

"Hello?" I asked, trying my best to sound cheerful.

"Hey Serena. I'm gonna have a meeting in 1 HOUR at the temple. Can you PLEASE come on time?" Rei said sounding irritated.

"I'm not in the mood for your b!tchiness today, Rei, so please, just save it. I'll be there." I retorted, and then hung up. I knew I sounded like a complete b!tch, but I was frustrated with her attitude.

"Thanks Amber," I told her, and sat back on the couch. I rolled my eyes and layed my head back. I didn't want to go to the stupid meeting, but I'm Sailor Moon, Champion of Love and Justice, and if I have to, I shall right wrongs and triumph over evil, and that means going to the meeting. I sighed and thanked Amber once more, then left to get crap from Rei. I sprinted because I had so much anger and stress to get rid of. I got there 10 minutes early. Rei wasn't there, but SHE was the one who told me to be on time. God, just shoot me now. I was depressed beyond the limit (If there WAS a limit to how depressed you could be). I asked myself what good was my life now? The man I thought I loved was cheating on me for 2/3 of our relationship. I walked down the street, completely blowing off the meeting. I didn't care anymore. I found the city park, and went down by the lake. I stared blankly at it, and it seemed to beckon me towards it. I looked at my surroundings...Children playing, a woman walking her dog, a man on a bench reading a book. I took off my shoes and threw my purse by them. I walked slowly into the lake. It was freezing, but I didn't feel anything at that moment in my life. I kept walking and now I was knee-high into the lake. The children were still playing, the woman was still walking her dog, and the man was still reading on the bench. My gaze turned to the lake. I took a few more steps. Now I was up to my waist in water. I looked around once more. I saw a young couple. They were having a picnic, but would kiss between each bite of food. I felt like throwing up, but I kept on trudging towards the center of the lake. Now I was up to my neck in water. I could feel the cold biting my whole body now. Before I took another step, I looked around once more. The children were napping, the woman and her dog were exiting the park, and the man on the bench was gone. I took one step...then another...and I was under the surface. I let my body sink, coldness and the dark around me. When I looked up, the sky smiling at me and I saw the bluest eyes I had ever seen.

Nothing was worth anything to me anymore. As I was pulled, I looked at my hero. After all, he did stop me from committing suicide. But then again, I was angry with him for saving me. Nothing was going right in my life and everything was a mess. I wanted my life to be over. We finally got to shore. I didn't move. I didn't want to. If I could, I would have forced my self to stop breathing, but I didn't have the energy to. My hero went someplace, and then came back less than 30 seconds later. He put his green jacket over me and carried me. I didn't know why he'd risk his life for a stranger, but I wasn't about to ask. For some unknown reason, I felt at peace with this man. The warmth that went through his body transferred to mine and it felt so right. We finally got to where this man was taking me; a hospital. Everything was blurry now. My eyes were filling with tears, but I had not the slightest idea why. I placed my head on his chest, and fell right to sleep in his arms. I woke up with many wires attached to my head and arms. I opened my eyes and looked around. First, I saw Amber, God bless her, and all of the scouts. I could a fresh round of tears coming back, but I blinked them away. I was very cold and I clenched the covers tightly.

"OMG, Serena, are you ok!?" Mina asked, sounding more concerned than usual. I nodded in response. I didn't feel like talking. I just wanted to get home. The nurse walked by and was checking my status.

"Hello dear, you've had quite a swim, haven't you?" the nurse said cheerfully. I wanted to jump out of bed and slap her in the face. If only she knew.

"Nurse, what happened to our friend?" Lita asked.

"Oh, a man rescued her from drowning in the city park's lake. She was terribly cold, poor dear," the nurse said, "but you should be able to go home after lunch." I was about to show her WWE Smackdown at this point. God I was so pissed off. I wanted my life to be over with, being the klutz that I am and everything, but NOW of all times, everyone gives a damn and NOW they are overjoyed with me being alive. I don't get society.

"Well girls, I'm sorry, but visiting time is over. She'll be home today. I'll need someone to do some paper work and arrange the drive home," she said in that cheerful tone. Amber stepped forward and followed the nurse. All of my friends filed out, but Rei stayed.

"I'm sorry Serena." she said. I could feel my face sink into the back of my head. Rei left before I could say anything. I got up and took off all the stupid wires on me. I sat on the window seat. All of my belongings were on a chair. My shoes, my purse, and a green jacket that I had no idea whom it belonged to.

Amber drove me to the dorms after my experience with lakes and the hospital nurses. It was a silent drive, but I didn’t mind the quiet. I needed time to think. I looked out the window and I saw Darien walking down the street. He wasn’t wearing his usual green jacket. I looked down at what was in my lap- a green jacket.
“Slow down for a sec, Amber,” I said. She obeyed without a word. I got out of the car and ran over to Darien with the jacket in my hand.
“Darien…did you?” I asked him. I felt like an idiot for not completing my sentence, but he was giving off this vibe that made it seem as if he could read me like a book and the same vice versa. He looked at me and then at the jacket I was offering him and just stared at me.
“Thank you,” he replied, and started walking away. I followed him only to see that he didn’t want to talk about it. I didn’t understand. What was the big deal? All I wanted to do was thank him for saving my life, but why would anyone want credit for saving a life?
“Darien, what’s wrong with you? I just wanted to thank you for saving me,” I said shakily. I could feel tears coming and I knew exactly why: I was falling for him.
“Well, you’re welcome. I have to go now,” he said almost coldly. What was wrong with me? Why do I have to screw myself over every time I find someone I can talk to? Not thinking, I kept on following him. I didn’t want to lose him. Not another one again. Just thinking about it, I was in tears.
“Darien, wait!” I said, trying with all of my heart to stop crying like a baby. He kept walking away. There is nothing that hurts more than watching the one you care about walk away. Watch them walk away into the shadows until there’s a point where nothing is between the two of you but space. I leaned against the wall, still crying my heart out. I wasn’t crying just because of Darien. I was now crying for everything…my suicide attempt, Andrew, being a klutz, and so on. Why did Darien have to save me, and then just act like he can’t stand to be around me afterwards? We just met a few weeks ago and already the relationship goes to hell? I doubt there’s anything wrong with him, so the problem must be me. It’s possibly why Andrew cheated on me. Possibly why I tried to be successful in committing suicide. It’s possibly why Darien wants nothing to do with me.

Darien's P.O.V.

I felt so bad for leaving Serena like that. I know she didn't do anything, maybe I should say anything yet, but Andrew said she was a player. I couldn't be with someone who'd play me again like Misty did. I knew she was in the past, but she hurt me badly and I didn't want to go through that hell again. I didn't want to take that risk of being hurt and lonely like I have been for so long. too long. Andrew told me all about Serena after she left the arcade. I trust him with my life. Why would he lie to me about something as serious as that? He is the closest thing to family I've ever had. I was walking quite quickly to the park bench that I always read my books on. I wanted to forget about what I did to Serena and how cruelly I treated her. She didn't deserve that treatment, but her behavior, if anything should have blossomed between us, would have required me to be cold and rude.

Back To Serena's P.O.V.

I started walking to the dorms. I never looked up and I was constantly staring at my feet. During my walk, my favorite characteristic, klutziness, began to play into part. I ran into someone, praying that it wasn't who I thought it'd be. Andrew was offering me his hand for some help up to my feet. I nodded my head 'No', and continued on home.

"Serena, are you mad at me for some reason?" Andrew asked me. I wanted to kick him in the place where a man shouldn't be kicked, but he was nothing more than a childish boy who got his kicks out of life by playing women.

"Oh no, why would I be mad at the man who cheated on me for most of our relationship? Why would I be mad at the man I thought I loved? Why would I be mad that you made me want to end my life because I still had these weird feelings for you? No, I'm not mad. I'm furious with you," I said, trying with all of the strength I had left to fight the tears that threatened to fall from my eyes. I was unsuccessful. Andrew leaned in to put his arm around me.

"Get off," I told him.

"Oh come on Serena, baby. You know you miss me. You like me putting my arm around you, don't you?" he said huskily. He grabbed me by the waist. I pushed him off hard.

"Stop it!" I told him firmly. He wasn't about to stop. He kept on hitting on me.

"Leave me alone, Andrew!" I shouted to him. I turned to take another route home. He pinched my butt and I whipped around and slapped him.

"You little b!tch!" he screamed to me. I was getting scared at this point. He raised his hand to slap me, but another hand grabbed his from behind.

"Back off Andrew, calm down. You don't treat women like that." A voice said. I recognized the voice immediately. It was Darien and he had saved me once more.

"Man, don't tell me to calm down, Darien. I'm gonna kick her skinny little @$$!" Andrew said to Darien. Darien was calm the whole time and said,

"Come on Andrew, cut it out. You don't need to be hitting on her like that," Darien scolded Andrew.

"Oh, and why can't I hit on her? Is she taken? Not apparent-" Andrew was cut off by Darien.

"As a matter of fact, she is taken. Don't harass my girlfriend or I'll kick your @$$ Andrew. I'm serious about this now. You got it?" I was stunned by these words. After the way he just treated me, he was being a prop for me? I don't understand men at all.

"Ok, ok, I'm backing off man. Don't go berserk on me. I'm your friend." Andrew defended himself. Andrew walked away into a crowd. My breathing was getting rapid, but somehow, I managed to keep it under control.

"You've saved me twice, but you don't want me thanking you? And now we are supposedly an item?" I questioned Darien.

"We aren't an item, and you know that as well as I do. I was only trying to get Andrew to back off," he replied without a care in the world.

"Well, why the sudden change in your attitude? When we met you were such a likable guy and I felt a connection towards you. Now you're just acting like a jerk to me," I said quietly. There was silence.

"From what Andrew has told me about you, I realize that I don't want to have a relationship with a player. Andrew doesn't lie. Not to me," Darien whispered. I was seeing red. Andrew gave Darien the complete opposite of who I really am. That bastard will go down, but later.

"First of all, do you even know my middle name?"

"No."

"That's because I don't have one. Do you know what my favorite color is?"

"Uh.no."

"Pink. You do not know the real me. Andrew is feeding you all this bull$h!- about me so he can have his way. I just can't believe you of all people would actually listen to a sleeze like that." Darien's mouth fell wide open. I turned around and started to walk back to the dorms, hoping no more perverts would harass me on my trip.

I made my way down the busy street trying to get away from my heartache: Darien. I let my tears flow freely. People were staring at me, asking me if I was ok. I ignored them and continued back to the dorms. After what seemed like ages, I finally got to the campus. I was exhausted, so I used the elevator. Someone walked in behind me. I didn't see who it was, but then I looked up. and of all people, it was Darien who stepped into the elevator with me. My palms were getting sweaty and I could feel my face flush. My stomach felt as it did the night we met. I was on the top floor and I'm pretty sure he was too. The elevator ride lasted forever, and believe me when I say this, but forever is a long time. There was a long, uneasy silence for most of the ride. Finally, Darien broke the silence.

"I'm sorry," he whispered. My heart melted. This man was so noble and had a great head on his shoulders.

"I appreciate that apology, Darien," I whispered just as quietly back. At that instant, the elevator made a noise that didn't sound too good. Darien hit his head on the hand rest when the elevator stopped moving so abruptly. The lights went out. The only light shining was the light of the elevator buttons. I could hear my heart pounding in my head.

"Are you ok?" I asked Darien, feeling overprotective of him.

"Yeah I'm fine, I just hit my head on this thing.what about you?"

"I'm ok. I'm going to feel around for you and then I'll try to help you out, ok?" There was silence.

"Ok." he said uneasily. I got onto my hands and knees and began to feel around for the wounded Darien. I felt a foot, then a knee. I moved up more. I then felt a muscular stomach. I felt like I stumbled into a dream. I moved along.a neck. and then my fingers brushed ever so gently over Darien's luscious, kissable lips. They stayed there for what seemed like an eternity. He kissed them gently. I slid my hands behind his neck and placed his head on my lap. I searched through my purse for my compact. I found it after a few seconds and opened it. A small light came between the two of us. I could see his piercing blue eyes sparkling with light from the compact. I could swim in his blue orbs. Getting back to what I thought was reality. I looked at his head. There was not a scratch on him.

"You'll probably have a headache in the morning, so here, take some Aspirin now and then again before you go to sleep. I rummaged through my purse once more, and I found the aspirin in a small container. I gave him the whole bottle and he put it in his pocket.

"Thank you," he said quite seductively. As I did in the lake, I felt myself being pulled down. This time, I looked forward to where I was being pulled to; into the arms of Darien and locked in a kiss that blew me away.

Darien's P.O.V.

How could she be so sad one minute, and then a caring little girl the next? Don't get me wrong, I was very grateful for her tending to my head, but I was blessed when my kiss got returned. She looked down on me and I looked up on her, my head still on her lap.

"Wow-" I tried to say, but I was cut off by her lips covering my mouth. I wouldn't mind if the elevator never started to move again. Finally getting some breath, I whispered to her,

"I'm sorry for what I did." She stopped kissing me and stared into my eyes.

"You are forgiven," and sealed my mouth with yet another kiss. You'd think she had a crush on me before this.hehe. in all honesty, I did, and I'm not afraid or ashamed to admit that. I leaned up, her lips still locked with mine, and I pulled her into my arms. We stayed like that for about 4 hours.

Serena's P.O.V.

Goodness, he was an amazing kisser, among many other things. I looked for my cell phone and found it, but the battery was dead. Darien looked down at me.

"$h!-!" I said under my breath. "Darien, what floor are you on?" I asked him.

"10," he responded. I looked at what floor we were on. Floor 8.

"So am I." I looked at the doors and then I had an idea. I got up and tripped over Darien's feet, falling into his arms.heehee. "Sorry hon," I said and kept going towards the only light; the elevator buttons. I pressed 10. Nothing happened. I tried to open the elevator door using the button, but it got jammed. The doors were open and when I looked, we were in between floors. We were closer to floor nine though and I could see the floor. "Darien, come here," I whispered. He got up and started to feel around for me even though the elevator was a little more lighted.::sigh::. Every time he touched me I was tingling in the spot his hand was over. I loved the man I chose to kiss. Anyways, he opened the doors and they went open all the way. He lifted me up to the ninth floor and I got out of the elevator. I pulled him up and out. Finally, light! But I felt so bad for Darien: he had lipstick all over his face.-_-;;; I went over to him and wiped it off with my shirt hastily. I'm going to use the stairs from now on. I told Darien I'd call him the next morning. He accepted that with a very passionate kiss. I then floated all the way back to my dorm.

I only slept for a few hours that night. All of the events that happened where exhilarating and my mind was having trouble keeping up. That and I got a phone call at 6:00 AM.

"Hello," I said, the sound of sleep (if there is one) mixed into my voice.

"Serena, I wanted to apologize for everything I've done to you. I broke up with Misty because we just weren't right for each other. look outside," Andrew said. My brain still processing all of this, I got up and went over to my window. I raised the blinds and sunlight filled my room. I looked around, but I saw nothing.

"Dammit, Andrew. What do you want?!" I screamed into the phone. I looked down and saw a silver '99 Porsche Boxster in my parking lot. There were flowers, candies, chocolates, and many more things in there. I dropped the phone and put on my robe. I came down the *stairs*. I finally reached the parking lot.

"Andrew, what are you doing?" I asked him.

"I want you to take me back. I want you to dump Darien and come with me Serena. I'll do anything Serena!" he pleaded.

"I'm sorry Andrew. No, I'm not going to do that. I'm flattered that you'd go this far, but you are scum. I can't be with something like that." I muttered and went back upstairs to try and get back to sleep.

"You don't know what you're missing baby! Believe me, you'll regret what's gonna happen to you!" He shouted back. I ignored him and kept walking, and how I wish I didn't and listened. anything to keep Darien away from harm.

"Go home, Andrew," I yelled right back. I trudged up the stairs and finally reached my room. I crawled to my bed and fell fast asleep.

Later that morning, I was awoken to Amber trying to wake me up.

"Serena, wake up! Someone's here to see you and this guy's HOT!" she whispered to me. I immediately woke up with a smile on my face and put my robe on. Darien was at the door.

"Good morning, sweetie," Darien said. He greeted me with a good morning kiss and roses. I couldn't wait to start a life with this man. I knew he was the right material. He kissed me again. Then there was a loud popping noise that startled the both of us. I was shaken up. Darien stopped kissing me and slumped to the floor with blood all over his back. I looked behind Darien with my tears falling and saw Andrew standing in the hallway with a gun. He had such an evil smirk on his face. I never forgot it as he shot me and I fell to my knees, bleeding and crying uncontrollably. Amber was now screaming and shrieking. I put my head on Darien's back and dreamed of our first kiss as we both died at my door.

I woke up screaming. Amber came running into my room.

"Serena! Serena, it's ok, wake up!" She said to me. I was crying. She sat on my bed and started to hug me. I grabbed her so tightly and glanced at the clock. It was 4 in the morning. I was startled badly.

"I had the worst nightmare ever. but it was so real!" I started to sob even more.

"Oh, Serena, it'll be ok. Do you want to tell me about it?" I accepted and told her all about my dream. When I finished, she was almost in tears.

"I have to call Darien. I don't think that was a dream, but a premonition. Andrew is capable of doing such a crazy thing. Get me the phone please?" I told Amber. She did and I dialed the phone quickly and waited for Darien to pick up. Someone finally did, but it wasn't Darien who picked up. Andrew did,

"Hello there, Serena."

"Why are you over at Darien's?!?"

"I am his best friend. why wouldn't I be allowed to come over?"

"At 4 in the morning?"

"Hmm, you've figured me out. Dammit."

I ran over to Darien's dorm as fast as my legs would carry me. I got there and saw Darien tied up in a chair

"Darien, are you ok? What happened?" I screamed to him. His eyes perked up and he saw me. I ran over to untie him.

"Oh my gosh. Andrew broke in and was trying to get me to dump you. I refused and he went crazy. He tied me up and tried to get me to talk about you, but I wouldn't. I am freaking out right now. I wanna pummel his @$$ right now!" Darien explained to me.

"Well, I'm here now. I'm not going to let anything happen to you. I promise." I heard the sound of a loading gun.

"I don't think so, Miss Serena," Andrew's creepy voice said to me. I turned around and saw he had me at point blank. I kissed Darien, closed my eyes, and heard a gunshot. Darien screamed my name. I soothed him, and heard the final thing I'd ever hear. Andrew falling to the floor. I looked at the figure standing in the doorway: it was Amber and she had a gun. She's the one that shot Andrew before he shot me. I was eternally grateful for her.
