"Ready? I’m throwing wide" A girl through the ball from home base to right field. The boy caught it and grinned.
"You’re getting better Sere-"
"Darien honey, come in now!" Darien’s mom called out to them in a strict voice. Serena glanced at the boy with a confused look on her face.
"I wonder what’s the matter. Mom made it sound serious" Serena looked at him and shrugged.
"Well, we better go in" they ran across the street to his house.
"Darien, Serena, we have something to tell you" Darien’s mom sounded grave.
"We are moving" His dad butted in. Darien stood there in shock and Serena felt like crying. She was going to lose her best friend of 13 years. They had been friends since the day they were born. Darien was one of the few who supported her softball career. She couldn’t bear to lose him.
"I’m not going" Darien said stubbornly. Serena stared at him in shock. What was he doing?
Darien’s mother sighed,
"Darien, you have to go, your father got a job opportunity and we took it"
" So you think you can ruin my life?" Darien shouted.
"Darien, you are going and that’s final." His ma said sternly. Serena couldn’t take it any more. She ran out the door as Darien and his parents stared after her.
Serena ran and ran, not knowing where she was going, just letting her feet lead the way. When she finally grew tired, Serena found herself at the park. This is the place she came to think when she needed peace and quite. Serena walked over to the bridge and looked down. She saw her reflection in the water and sighed. She was going to lose her best friend. A tear slide down her cheek unnoticed.
"You won’t lose me Serena," a voice behind her said. Serena turned around to find herself face to face with her best friend.
"I will be with you forever," he said softly. Serena broke down crying.
"I… don’t want…you to leave…me" she sniffed. Darien smiled and enveloped her in a hug. They clung onto each other and rocked back and forth slightly.
Finally, they had to go home. They parted ways, each with something on their mind. Darien was leaving in a week, and they promised to write to each other.
As time went by Darien spent the last of his days packing and talking with his friends. Serena had been avoiding him and they didn’t get much of a chance to talk anyway. He would miss her deeply and he just realized how much he cared for her.
Serena on the other hand was extremely quiet and her friends worried about her.
"I hope she’s ok" Amy said concerned, "she’s been in withdrawal mode ever since Darien told us he was moving"
At night Serena would sit down at her desk and try to compose a letter for Darien only to crumple it up and throw it away.
Finally the day came for Darien to move. He said good bye to all his friends, walked around town and went to the park one last time. He was leaving his hometown.
"Darien! We are leaving in 5 minutes!" His mother called out to him. Darien nodded. He looked around for Serena but she was no where to be seen, he sighed. He had wanted to see her one last time and say goodbye.
Right before he got in the car, he heard someone call his name.
"DARIEN!" it was Serena. She was running down the street with something in her hand. She stopped in front of him breathless. Her cheeks were flushed and her eyes had a spark in them. She looked beautiful.
"I wanted to give you this." She said. Serena held out a CD. He smiled and took it.
"And I also wanted to give you this letter" she handed it to him. "don’t read it until you are on the plane" She smiled suddenly and Darien knew he would miss that smile.
"Darien! come on, we are leaving now!" Serena glanced in the car before taking a deep breath.
"I want you to remember me always and don’t forget to write" he nodded and Serena leaned in. She kissed him sweetly on the lips before pulling back and smiling.
"I’ll be here always. I promise. Now go." Serena gave him a final peck on the cheek, turned around and left. Darien blinked. She was gone.
They drove to the airport and boarded a plane. Darien took out his portable CD player and the CD that Serena had given him. It had all their favorite songs and one more song that Serena had added. He supposed that this was the one she had composed and sung herself. It was called "I Will Remember You, But Will You Remember Me?"
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Will you remember me?
Or will I be
Someone in your dreams
Only there when
I can’t be here with you
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Darien opened the letter she gave him.
Dear Darien,
By now you are already on the plane. I miss you. I just realized how much I cared for you. Please don’t forget me when you’re gone. Write to me everyday. I’ll live in the same house just for you. And I hope that kiss meant something at least to you. It meant a lot to me. Someday we will meet up again like destiny promised us. Until, then, I love you always and visit me. I need someone to play with forever.
With Much Love,
Serena

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Don’t you see?
My heart is beating rapidly
When you see me don’t say
Who you?
Remember me…
Always.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Darien smiled. He did love her in that way. He would have to tell her when he wrote to her. Darien decided to start writing his letter now.
Hey Serena!
Don’t worry, I do love you-
The plane started shaking and Darien looked up from his letter. The plane began to shake even more.
"What’s going on?" he asked his parents. They shrugged panicky. All of a sudden the plane gave a sudden jerk.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"
****************************************************************
Serena flipped on the TV as she settled down on the coach with strawberries and a coke in hand.
"Nothin’ good on" she muttered to her self as she switched through the channels. Suddenly, something caught her attention.
"And here is Bill Thorton with the news,"
"Thank you, behind me you see a plane that crashed. It was on it’s way to New York. Apparently there was something wrong with the engine. So far there seem like no survivors…"
Serena’s heart sank, Darien was supposed to go to New York. She hoped desperately that it wasn’t the plane that Darien was on. She would just have to wait and see.

CHAPTER 1
******************************
Serena had given up hope searching for Darien. She waited
for a month for him to write back but he never did. Even
if he didn't like her, he could at least write to tell her
that, but he never did. It was time to get on with her life.
/Couple Years Later/
Serena was extremely nervous. Here was all her years
training put to use. She was trying out for the USA
Women's Softball Team.
"Serena Tsukino! It's your turn!" Serena took a deep
breath and walked over to the coaches.
"What position do you play?"
"Pitcher or right field" The coaches had a look of approval on their face.
"Well, we'll have you try pitcher first."
Serena walked over to the pitcher's mound and
warmed up. Finally she was ready. Serena held
up her glove and did a wind mill pitch. She got
it dead smack in the middle of the catcher's glove.
Very impressive. She got it center ever time she
pitched. The coached were very happy they found a good pitcher.
"Very good! We'll have you try right field now,"
She walked of to the field. They hit her pop flies,
grounds, and made her back up first base. She didn’t miss a single thing.
"Excellent! You're on the team!" Serena leaped
for joy and hugged all the coaches. She was so
happy, suddenly her face became sad. She wished
Darien was here to celebrate this joy with her.
Serena turned her back on the coached and walked away.
The coaches looked at her surprised, why was
she so sad all of a sudden? But they shrugged it
off and went to go see the other girls first.
* * * * *
When Serena got home, she found out that her whole family was in the living room.
"So did you make the team?" her mother asked eagerly. Serena nodded.
"Of course she did. If she didn’t then I would have…." Her cousin
trailed off thoughtfully and Serena smiled.
"Good job Serena!" Ken, her father brought out a cake in
the shape of a glove and ball. The whole family spent the
rest of the night celebrating.
When Serena was in bed, getting ready to turn out
the lights, Ilene, her mom, came in.
"Serena dear, are you ok?" She gently asked as she
sat on the edge of Serena’s bed.
"Of course, why wouldn’t I be? I made the team didn’t I?"
Serena put on a fake smile. Ilene sighed,
"Oh honey, does it have anything to do with Darien?"
Serena finally broke down in sobs.
"He should have been here! He should have seen me!"
"I know, I know," Ilene gently rocked her daughter back in forth.
"It’s not fair mom. I don’t even know if he’s alive!"
"Shhh…." Her mom tried to calm her down.
"Maybe someday, you will know for sure…"
/6 MONTHS LATER/
"OK! Keep up the good work girls! Serena, I want you
to take all the pitches* and then run to second**. Got it?"
Serena nodded and they practiced the play over and over
again with each player until sweat literally dropped from their chins.
"Now don’t forget girls, we will being flying to Tokyo, Japan
tomorrow for our first game. We leave at 7:00am sharp!
Good practice, bye!"
The coach left and the players went home for a shower and a good night sleep.
,/7:00am NEXT DAY/
"MOM! I’m leaving! Wish me luck!" Serena yelled out
as she came downstairs all dressed up. Her mother hugged her.
"Oh, sweetie, I’m sorry I can’t come, but good luck. And have fun!"
They hugged one last time before Serena got in the car
with her dad and they drove off to the airport.
"My baby’s growing up" Ilene whispered.
Serena got to the airport and met up with her teammates. They
checked in the luggage, got their tickets, and sat around waiting
for the plane to be called.
"OH, I can’t wait! You know, Tokyo is where I was born in," Raye
Hino, the shortstop said.
"Really! So why are you here?" Lita Kino asked. She played center left***.
"Scholarship." Raye said carelessly.
"You got a scholarship? Way cool!" Mina Ainako, the second
basemen burst out. "I couldn’t get a scholarship. I way to stupid." Mina laughed ruthfully.
"No you’re not! Every one is smart!" Amy, the left fielder
exclaimed. She was the brainack of the group.
"AMY!" Everyone groaned and Amy laughed sheepishly. Serena
looked around at all her friends and teammates.
Raye, short tempered but fun still, she had long raven hair
and unusual purple eyes. Raye loved to meditate and sold
charms after school a while ago. Sometimes the girls would come to her for one. You would usually stay out of her way.
Lita, a tall brunette with sparkling green eyes. She was
tough on the inside and out. Before, she would beat up all
the guys at her old school. But that was before, Lita was also
known as being a great chef. She was the one that brought
the snacks. You had best stay out of her way too.
Mina, your typical clueless blonde (AN: I have nothin’ against
them, I am one after all!) She had long cascading blonde hair
up to her butt. She had bright blue eyes and was very cheerful.
She could make anyone feel better, she also loved to gossip.
Amy, was, how to say it, extremely smart, shall we put it.
It was a wonder why she even played sports, but Amy said
that her dad pressured her into sports knowing she would
like one and it was softball. Amy had short blue hair and
beautiful hazel eyes. She was the one that usually came up
with plays. Amy was also very quiet and shy when you first meet her.
Molly, was the first basemen. She had short brown hair
and lovely brown eyes. She had a bit of a British accent and was very kind at heart.
Amara had short blonde hair and green eyes. Was often
mistaken for a guy. She was the 3rd basemen.
Beryl played back-up right field. She was the person
that everyone hated. Even sweet Amy. Beryl was mean
and rude to every one. She had long red hair with matching eyes.
Michelle played pitcher when Serena didn’t, she had short
black hair and brown eyes. She was also very sweet and shy.
Then there was Trista. She was Asian and was also born
in Tokyo. Her black hair reached her back mid-way and was
curly. Her eyes were a mixture of violet and green.
Last but not least, Hotaru. Hotaru was the joker. She played
buck short****. Tiffany had brown extremely curly hair
and green eyes through contacts. She was very nice and funny.
But then there was herself, Serena. Serena had long blonde hair
always put up in two buns on either side of her head. When she
played though, she clipped the ends up. Her bright blue eye’s
and a cheerful aura to her. She was nice, funny, and tough.
She would stand up for all her friends if she had to. People
didn’t mess with her, especially after she learned some moves form Lita.
So that was the team. 11 players going for the same goal. The team got
off the plane, checked out their luggage and went to the hotel. After
they checked in an unpacked, they had a couple of hours to spare so
they went into the city.
"Hey look! There’s an arcade! Bet there’s tons of hot guys there. Come on!"
And Mina took off and ran inside. The rest of the team followed her.
"Hello ladies! And how may I help you?" A tall blonde man with
laughing green eyes came up to them.
"I’m Andrew and I’ll be your waiter for today" he smiled.
"I’m Mina!" Mina shook his hand eagerly with hearts in her eyes.
The girls all groaned and dragged Mina over to a booth. Andrew walked
over to a man and sat down next to him.
"So you going to the softball game today?" Andrew asked him.
"Yeah, I guess" The man got a sad look in his eyes. Andrew noticed
this and asked what was wrong.
"My best friend used to play softball" Andrew nodded understandingly.
"um, hi Andrew, we are ready to order" Serena had walked over to Andrew.
"Ok, what will it be?" Serena told him what they want. When she was
done, she glanced at the man next to him and a flash of something
went through his eyes. But she ignored it and left.
Andrew brought the girls their orders and they dug in. Finally they f
inished, left a generous tip, and left.
"Hey Andy, I could have sworn that blonde one was the one that
gave me my first kiss!"
"Yea right! Keep dreamin’ ol’ Chuck" Andrew laughed and went
to serve some other customers.
***
The USA Women’s Softball team spent the last hour warming
up (AN: it takes time to get used to the other field and practicing!)
Finally, the game was about to start.
HELPFUL NOTES ON SOFTBALL:
* Take all the pitches means don’t swing
** If the catcher didn’t catch the ball and it was the
batter’s 4th ball, the batter is able to run to second.
*** Center left is the position behind 2nd base and a little to the left.
**** Buck short is in between 1st and second (also called short stop)

Serena took her place on the mound. Her team was in the outfield first. She wound up and started practicing with the catcher, Antoinette. She wasn’t there for the tryouts because of her uncle’s funeral, so the coaches asked her to tryout later and she made it.
Antoinette had long curly brown hair and bright green eyes. She and Mina were getting close to each other since both liked the same things: guys, shopping, and softball. Antoinette was an American but she had a pen pal in Tokyo who she planned to visit after the game. She hoped he came because she had sent him an e-mail before she left saying that she made the team and they were playing in Tokyo. Antoinette also wrote that she would meet him on the field if he came. Everyone except Beryl liked Antoinette because of her out going personality, smart comebacks, and strong arm. She was very sweet once you got to know her.
Serena and Antoinette warmed up together while the outfield warmed up with each other, and same with the in field. Finally the game was about to start.
"BALLS IN!" Outfield and infield rolled the ball into the dugout. Serena pitched to Antoinette, who threw to Mina, who threw to Molly, who threw back to Antoinette. Antoinette rolled the ball in as the umpire walked over and handed Serena a brand new ball.
The first batter from Tokyo stepped up. Serena took a deep breath and wound up. The batter swung and missed.
"STRIKE ONE!" Serena pitched again.
"BALL ONE!" Serena took a deep breath and watched Antoinette for a sign. Serena nodded slightly and pitched again, the batter didn’t swing at the good pitch.
"STRIKE TWO!" Serena gave a small smile and pitched once more, the batter hit it straight in to left field where Amy was. Amy positioned herself under the ball and caught it.
"SHE’S OUT!" The batter walked off while another batter hit it to second base. Mina scooped it up and threw to Molly who tagged the base before the runner got there.
"SHE’S OUT!" Serena threw the ball and struck the next girl out. The USA Team jogged in.
"Good job girls, you held them. The score is 0-0. Now lets score!"
Serena was up first. She stepped to the plate and got into position. The pitcher pitched and Serena swung.
"STRIKE ONE!"
‘Take a deep breath Serena,’ She told herself, ‘You can do it’ She stepped back up to the plate. The pitcher pitched it outside the box.
"BALL ONE" The next pitch was too low, and the one after was too high. Serena swung once more and missed.
"STRIKE TWO, FULL COUNT*!" Serena took a deep breath and swung a practice hit. She stepped up to the mound and waited for the perfect pitch to come. It came and Serena swung with all her might. She took off running and made it to second base, where she took a breather. Amy was next and she hit a grounder past second base. Serena took the chance and made a run for third.
"SAFE!"
Next was Amara who hit a line drive down third. Serena ran and did a perfect slide home. Antoinette was after Amara, and she hit a home run. The score was now 4-0. Mina, Beryl, and Michelle got out and it was the second inning with USA Women’s leading. The rest of the game went on something like this. In the third inning Beryl dropped a ball which caused a couple of runs. She was taken out the next inning and Samantha Manning was put in. Samantha was one of the ‘bench warmers’. She was pretty good and caught two balls. The coach made a note to herself to keep Samantha in and have Beryl out.
Samantha had short blonde hair. She had tried out and made it. But she would be put in unless Beryl of Serena made a mistake in right field. Then she would have one chance to prove herself, which Samantha certainly did. So Sam was moved up to the main line up and her brown eyes sparkled happily.
In the last inning both teams were tied 8-8. Michelle was in pitching because Serena’s arm was sore. So the coach decided to giver her a break and put her in right field. Michelle started off very good, striking two people out. The last batter for Tokyo’s team came forward. She hit the ball in between right field and center. Serena dived for the ball and barely caught it in her glove. Because she wasn’t wearing her pads she got bruises up her arm and was unable to hit.
The coach needed to put his four best hitters up to and least get a point, but because Serena was out, he decided to put Amy first up to bat, followed but Amara, and then Antoinette. After Antoinette would be Samantha. Since she had done well during batting practice, the coach decided to give her a chance at hitting. Amy, Amara, and Antoinette each hit a base hit, so when Samantha stepped up to the plate it was based loaded. Luckily, Her pitch came through and Sam hit a grand slam to win the game 12-8, USA’s win.
"Great job Sammie!" Serena congratulated her for her win, as the rest of the teammates followed in her suit except, Beryl who just growled. Serena got up and walked over to Antoinette who was standing around on the mound looked for her pen pal.
"Any luck?" Antoinette shook her head. "Good job catching my balls, not many people could have," Serena said with a twinkle in her eye. "Only one person could of don that…" Serena trailed off as Antoinette looked at her interested.
"Who?" But just as Serena was about to reply, Andrew came marching up the mound with his friend.
"Antoinette?" he asked uncertainly and she nodded. He broke out into a grin and hugged her while Serena and Darien stood uncomfortably on the side not recognizing each other.
"Bunny," Antoinette said breaking from the hug and using the teams nickname for Serena, "meet Andrew-"
"We’ve met!" they said together and laughed. Antoinette smiled,
"Then you know she is our best pitcher" Serena blushed.
"And Antoinette is our best catcher. She one of the few people who could actually catch my pitches!" They laughed at that before Andrew remember his friend’s presence.
"Darry meet my pen pal Antoinette," Darien came forward and they shook hands.
"So who’s the other person who could catch you pitches?" Darien asked Serena curiously.
"My best friend who left." Serena got a sad, far away look on her face and Darien hastily tried to change the subject.
"So where are you to originally from?"
"San Jose"
"And Antoinette is originally from New York City." Andrew said a matter of factly as Antoinette smiled at him.
"You’re from San Jose? Me too!" Darien said to Serena as they started their own conversation.
"Really! That’s so cool. So why are you here in Tokyo? That’s kinda far away?"
"Parents got job offer. I had to leave my friends. You know you remind me of someone but I can’t place whom." Darien trailed off thoughtfully.
"Well don’t think about it because the longer you think of it, the more you forget." Serena said teasingly and Darien laughed.
Antoinette and Andrew looked their way, interested.
"Looks like they are hitting off great!" Antoinette said as Andrew nodded encouraging.
"Darien once thought that she gave him his first kiss,"
"Serena? Nope, she gave her first kiss to her best friend. That’s all I know. She tends to be really mysterious about her life before." Andrew nodded and they watched Darien and Serena for a little bit.
"You would go perfect with our second baseman!" Antoinette suddenly exclaimed.
"And that would be…" Andrew inquired,
"I’ll show you," She rushed towards their locker rooms while Serena and Darien watched confused.
"Antoinette’s probably heading towards the locker room," Serena told Darien. "We should too." Darien nodded and the started walking the way that Antoinette and Andrew scrambled off.
"So how long are you staying in Tokyo?" Darien asked Serena as they were walking.
"Three days, I think. Then we are flying off to play our next game. Would you like free tickets?"
"Sure"
"Then follow me!" Serena led Darien inside the locker room. Some of the team was still there, packing up, but the rest were in the hotel already.
"Here you are," She produced a ticket from her wallet. " Everyone is allowed to give out 4 free tickets"
Just then Antoinette and Andrew appeared.
"Have you seen Mina?" Antoinette asked Serena.
"Nope, I think she left already. We should too" Serena reminded her.
"Yea we should. What time is it now?" Antoinette looked at her watch. "Ok we’ll meet you in front of the arcade at 5." Darien and Andrew nodded and left the room. Serena and Antoinette quickly changed and grabbed a taxi to the hotel.
"You gals, we are meeting the guys at 5 in the arcade. Ok?" Antoinette asked the rest of the team who nodded. After the team talked with their coaches about their mistakes and what could have been done better, the got dressed and snatched a taxi. Each girl except for Beryl, who was wearing a flashy low cut dress, wore shorts, sneakers, and different shirts. They walked into the arcade and caught the attention of many guys whom were ignored by the whole team excluding Beryl who was showing off. But behind her back, the guys were disgusted.
"So you made it!" Andrew called out from the counter. He, Darien, and some other guys came up to the girls. "Girls, this is Darien, Greg, Ken, Chad, Justin, Derrick, Matt, Ben, Mike, Malachite, James, and Adam."
Each of the girls quickly grabbed a guy and started talking. Mina and Andrew, Serena and Darien, Amy and Greg, Lita and Ken, Raye and Chad, Amara and Justin, Michelle and Derrick, Trista and Matt, Hotaru and Ben, Antoinette and Mike, Molly and Malachite, Beryl and James, and Samantha and Adam.
The girls and guys they paired up with had something in common with each other. In other words, they were perfect for each other. Another coincidence was that they played the same positions, girls in softball, and guys in baseball (with a few exceptions). Since they didn’t have much time they just stayed in the arcade and talk. They all decided to met at the arcade the next day but go their separate ways, where ever they wanted to go since it was a day of to see the city and the guys knew all about it.

Mina and Andrew walked around Tokyo just window-shopping and looking around.
"I saw you out there," Andrew said, as he looked at the ground. Mina looked up at him and smiled.
"What did ya think?" she asked teasingly,
"You were amazing!" Andrew exclaimed and Mina laughed.
"I’m glad you think so!" They strolled by a couple of shops in silence before Mina squealed,
"Oh I love that shirt! Can we get it? Please!" Mina begged Andrew who just sighed and said a silent prayer to the gods. The shirt was silver with the word Cute Angel and halo over it. Luckily it only cost $15 and Mina was able to get it. After spending an hour in there, Andrew finally managed to drag Mina out of the store.
"So Andrew, how old are you?"
"19"
"Girlfriend?" Mina asked, ready to bomb him with questions when she felt a tug on her bag. "Hey! Leave me alone!"
*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
"Taxi!" Darien shouted as he tried to hail a taxi to take him and Serena to the baseball stadium.
"Here, let me try," Serena said as she stepped in front of him and raised her hand. A taxi came to her immediately.
"Sexist people," Darien muttered as he got in and Serena laughed. When they arrived at the stadium, they went to go check out a cage.
"Oh young man, you are so lucky," the old man behind the counter said to Darien as he signed his name.
"Why?" Darien asked, a little confused.
"Well, you have a wife who actually likes baseball. My wife thinks it’s a game of knock heads and won’t come near a baseball!" the old man explained.
"Oh, but she’s not my- I mean we’re not-we don’t go-" Darien stumbled over words to explain to the old man that they weren’t together. Serena grabbed hold of his hand.
"Come on sweetie," she said as she led him to the cage.
"Serena!"
*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
"Come on," Greg said as he boarded the bus and Amy followed him in. They grabbed a seat near the front and started talking.
"So you like to read?" Greg asked her, wondering if she was as smart as she looked.
"Do I! I love reading! You?"
"Same!" Greg exclaimed, getting into the conversation.
"What’s your favorite book?" Amy asked eagerly.
"Hmmm… toughie, I would go with The Decameron." Greg responded. (AN: great book! I loved it!)
"I love that book too! I also liked An Old Fashioned Girl by Louisa May Alcott," Amy echoed. (AN: my fave!)
"Well, we’re here, at the best bookstore in the world! Silver Creek Books, it has a lot of antique books though." Greg said as they got off the bus.
"Great! I cherish antique books!" Together they went in and looked around. Eventually, they were ready to purchase and Amy got a book on romance in the Middle Ages, and Greg a medieval book on weapons back then. As Amy was paying, Greg fished around for his wallet.
"Hey I can’t find my wallet!"
*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
"Man, I’m hungry!" Ken moaned as he rubbed his stomach and Lita laughed.
"Me too, know a good place to eat?"
"Blue Steps Diner, they have terrific food."
"Ok, cool, lets go" They took a cab to the diner.
"Let’s see," Lita sighed as she looked at her choices. It seemed like they had a pretty good menu. When the waitress arrived, Ken ordered first.
"I’ll have a coke with mashed potatoes and a piece of a chicken leg." The waitress wrote that down before turning to Lita.
"I’ll have the same but instead of a coke, I’ll have um, a root beer." She handed the waitress her menu. As soon as she left, Lita started a conversation.
"Do you uh, like boxing?" Lita asked Ken as she toyed with her straw.
"Yea, you?" Ken asked, guessing that the answer would be a no, like most the girls he dated.
"I love it!" Lita said enthusiastically and Ken was a bit taken back, this girl was something!
"Really, there is a boxing match in an hour. You wanna go?" Ken questioned hopefully and Lita nodded fervently.
"I haven’t been to one in ages." She raved. "Not since softball started, they don’t let us go," The food arrived and Lita started devouring while Ken just stared at her in amazement. He was luckily to find a girl so much like him.
When they finished eating, Lita wiped her mouth.
"Man, that was good. I should know," she added and Ken looked at her confused. "I’m a chef in a place called Golden Stream. It very popular in our area." Ken looked at her amazed, she could actually cook well!
"So we goin’ to the match or not?" Ken nodded and left a tip. They got up and went outside to get a cab.
They arrived at the place and purchased tickets.
"Come on! I wanna get popcorn!" Lita cried as she ran up to the vendor to purchase her food.
"How do you eat so much and stay so thin?" Ken asked when she came back. Lita just laughed.
"You should see my friend Serena!" They walked to the entrance of the arena and found their seats. When the game started, Lita observed the fighters carefully. After 5 minutes of observing so turned to Ken,
"I think the one on the right is gonna win."
"Black Knight? He never wins!"
"I’ll bet you 50 bucks," Lita said determined. Ken sighed,
"It’s a bet," They shook hands. "Your loss," he said mischievously.

"Chad! Stop singing! If you want to sing, go to one of those singing bars!" Raye yelled at Chad as she hit him.
"Can we really? I know a great one!" Raye just sighed and followed Chad on the bus.
They arrived in a loud rainbow colored place.
"Hey Vanessa!" Chad called out to the bartender as he passed her. Vanessa waved and winked at him and Raye felt a twinge of jealousy. Chad grabbed her hand and pulled her on the stage with him.
"You like singing?" He asked,
"I love singing!" she shouted over the noise. He nodded and talked to a man behind the counter who grinned then talked to the lady beside him. Chad handed Raye a mike and pointed to the TV.
"The lyrics are right there, sing along!" he bellowed. Raye looked at him,
"I don’t sing in big crowds!" Chad just smiled and Raye had the impression that he hadn’t heard her. The music started and Chad started singing.

Always there when you call, always on time
Gave you my… baby be mine
Always there when you call, always on time
Gave you my…baby

Chad handed the mike to Raye and started break dancing.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Baby, I’m not always there when you call, but I’m always on time
And I gave you my all, now baby be mine
I’m not always there when you call, but I’m always on time
And I gave you my all, now baby be mine

Raye gave the mike back to Chad so he could rap and did a sexy dance. Catcalls and whistles sounded through the bar and Chad got angry. When he began to rap, he rapped.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
C’mon and get a piece of this late night lover
You know, the one that swing dick like no other
I know, I got a lot of things I need to explain
But baby you now the name and love is about pain
So, stop the complaints and drop the order restraints
Our sex life’s a game so bat me down in the paint
‘cause I can’t wait no more
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Using those glow stick things, Chad waved it around professionally while Raye finished up the song.

Always there when you call, always on time
Gave you my… baby be mine
Always there when you call, always on time
Gave you my… baby be mine

Raye set the mike down and started pole dancing. After doing that for five minutes the guys in the audience started getting rowdy. One of them jumped on stage and tried to join Raye.
"Hey get off me! Chad help!"

"So, um, Amara, you like racing?" Justin asked fidgeting in his seat at the fast food "restaurant". Amara stared at him.
"Like it? you’ve got to be kidding!" Justin looked down at his plate.
"Well, I just thought you might-"
"IT"S MY LIFE!" Amara shouted, ignoring the stares of others. Justin’s face lit into a smile.
"Great! So after you finish your Chow Mien, we’ll go!"
Amara nodded and the two of them finished their Chinese lunch quickly.

"I would like to rent that race car," Amara said to the man behind the counter, pointing to the one she wanted.
"You sure you can handle it, missy?" The man asked, unsure if he should lend it to her.
"Oh, believe me, I can," Amara said surely and the man sighed.
"Alright, what about you young man?" he directed his question to Justin.
"I’ll take the one right next to it," the man nodded.
"You’ll both need to sign here and here," he produced a clipboard and the two of them signed. "Great, here’s your gear."
When they were all set up, they went out to claim their cars.
"I’m gonna do a test run to get used to this baby, ok?" Amara asked as she seated her self in the car. Justin nodded and stood off to the side to watch. Amara started her engines and took off. Justin watched as she rounded a corner very smoothly. A person was going to cross the track right in front of her. He figured that as soon as the guy heard the car her would step off the track, but as Amara grew closer and closer to the guy, the guy just stayed on the track and Amara didn’t seem to be slowing down either.

"
So James, you wanna go to a bar?" Beryl asked James, batting her eyes. He smiled,
"Any time, and I know one that gives rooms for five dollars and hour."
"Perfect," Beryl slurred. She clung on to him as they walked to the nearest bar, which happened to be the one that James was talking about. They stepped in and saw girls who were barely wearing anything walk by. Beryl noticed that James was drooling and grew jealous. She would make him hers.
"Gosh it’s hot in here," Beryl said as she began to take her shirt off. James eyes boggled and he stared at her chest, which was a little larger than normal thanks to the wonderful invention of pushup bras. James started to lower his head to her chest and Beryl smirked.
"Not yet sweetie. Get me a beer first," James nodded and rushed off to get her a beer.
He came back and handed it to her.
"So where are the rooms?"
