I walked alone along the rivers edge
Quietly listening to its never ending voice
Crossing the sacred stones that led across its face
I stopped awhile to admire its natural grace
And watched the river dance its dance upon the rocks
Yet still i heard the voice and knew to journey on
Though the ancient forests  with her many trees
Always Burning bright yet never burning
As they danced and swayed unto the wind
So I stopped a while to rest my eyes
Such pure beauty made them weep
I listened as i sat to the sacred songs
A million birds all singing in song
In the end i still heard the calling voice
Calling me onward, to the place of dreams
Over and past the mountain peaks to the worlds edge
To and down the valleys did i descend
Amongst the sweet fragrant flowers of such will never be again
The voice became a whisper now as i neared her face
Here i was standing at her golden shore
A glittering lake like none I’d seen before
With colours of the setting sun upon her face
I found a rock, my seat to sit and watch
For in the sky comets flashed back and forth
And the stars did twinkle ever brighter
The moon, her face was ever smiling
In the distance the flowers danced to the calling.
