Mixdowns will be provided on audio CD (or as .wav files on a CDR). At the end of the session, I will burn one copy on CD / CD-R at no additional charge. More copies can be provided, upon request, for $2 extra per CD.
Upon completion of tracking and mixing, many of my clients will request the original tracks (session data) from the recording session. Or they may wish for me to hold on to and store the original tracks for them -- should they be needed at a later time, possibly for re-mixing -- or simply for backup. *For those not familiar with the process, this would simply mean that I would preserve the original drum, vocal, and guitar tracks, etc.
There also may be situations where a band / musician may be recording a particular project over the span of several weeks or several months, necessitating me to store their session data (tracks) over an extended period of time. It might also be in the client's interest, in this situation, to have backup of the data available in the event of a computer crash, God forbid.
In these events, media costs are as follows:
* $20 for every 5 songs, and I will provide you with backup session and data files on CD-R or DVD.
OR
* $100 in advance and I will hold on to and store all of your original files for you, no matter how many or how big they are, indefinitely. And I will be held personally and financially responsible for any data loss or corruption for any reason.
If you choose to forgo the media / storage costs, then you are "rolling the dice" and taking the chance that your work -- and all of the time and money spent recording it -- could be lost with no compensation.
Short runs (100-200) with full-color printing on disk can be provided for $1.50 per disk.
