| Carrie Helia Monaghan Born: 23rd April From: Oakhampton, Gloustershire. Eye colour: Violet Hair colour: Blonde. It's short and cropped to her shoulders. Height: 5'9" Wand: Unicorn hair, Yew, 9 inches House: Gryffindor Status: professor at Hogwarts, teaches History of Magic Connection with Hogwarts: attended for seven years, made Prefect and Head Girl Family: the Monaghan's come from a long line of famous witches and wizards. They have strong family ties with the Lupin's. Carrie's parents are Connor and Marisiell. Carrie comes from a large family, Unfortunately though, Carrie never knew Babylon, Rhode, Giza (Her three older brothers) or Artemis (Her twin sister) (thankfully for the latter) because her mother left her father Connor with Herself and Daani to raise them on his own. Connor was devastated and single-handed raised his two children whilst setting up a successful business of brewing his own mead and butterbeer, which is now sold worldwide. He owns two pubs, The Blarney Stone in Ireland (Co. Monaghan incidentally) and The Unicorn Whisper in Hertfordshire, where he lives in his mansion. Alexandria (or Lexie as she's known to all as) is currently studying at Hogwarts, in the year above Harry Potter. Lexie was a surprise from the family's old house maid with whom Connor had relations with, and all Carrie's older siblings (apart from Daani) don't know about her. Since finding out the truth about her four siblings (after meeting Babylon at the ministry) Carrie made an attempt to find her mother, not knowing of her sadistic nature. She then found out from Babylon that her mother lives in France with Carrie's twin sister Artemis. Artemis is said to have been a 'bad egg' and none of her family like her [Artemis], so that's the reason why her mother loves her! Carrie was gutted to learn of her having a twin and never knowing but got over it reasonably well when she learnt how evil she was (as well as her own mother). Carrie's ancestors come from Ireland and France and further back, America. Current line of Employment: History of Magic Professor at Hogwarts. Previous Employment: Owl Carer in Devon for 6 months Ministry Of Magic: Department of Magical Games and Sports (Bagman's assistant :) ) History of Magic assistant at Beauxbatons Acadamy for 1 year Pet: Tawny Owl, Lukka. Lukka is 4 years old. He is the first owl to be born in Carrie's care. Personality: Carrie is quiet, laid back and prides herself on her students enjoying the subject. She is slightly clumsy, but has a reputation of being an extremely good teacher among pupils. She is easy to talk to, and is kind and generous with her time. Carrie is the Queen of reverse psychology and this ensures that her pupils hand in their work on time and like her. She is slightly reserved around people for the first time. Other info: Quidditch Keeper for Gryffindor & won the Quidditch cup. She supports the Chudley Cannons and talks to Ron Weasley a lot about their state of play. She is reserve referee for the Quidditch matches at Hogwarts and is a talented flier. She currently owns a Nimbus 2001 but is looking to upgrade to a Firebolt. Carrie has the spooky ability to know when people are coming a few seconds before they open doors and walk in and seems to be able to predict events in the future just by thinking for a second and is rather random. She has a fear of Toads, and Carrie particularly enjoys teaching her class on the early 'Witch Hunts' in America when people first went and settled over there. She loves talking to Katerina Silvermoore about general affairs and enjoys talking to Harry, Ron and Hermione during lessons and out of them. Carrie currently lives with Remus Lupin in her small cottage in the Lake District and often Disapperates there on her weekends off. Carrie also knows about Godrinch Silvermoore's crush on her (Katerina was teasing her, she had to know!! He he *but* she loves Remus too much to even look at him in *that* way!) And takes it in good humour, especially when Katerina teases her in lessons when she's teaching about the Goblin Revolution in 1872 (Katerina I want that essay sometime this CENTUARY!! ^_^) (Yeah, Professor, its coming!) (How did you get in here?) Past Life: in a previous life Carrie was known as Sarah Edge, a pilgrim who moved to Salem in 1584 to escape the perils of her village Hamlet. She was discovered talking to sheep so was burnt at the stake. She put on a fire freezing charm and in the middle of the night she escaped on her horse Patch. She went way down towards New Amsterdam, (now New York) and resided there until she came to her death when an army of Pre-Death Eater type folks came to her hovel as toads and proceeded to use the spell which killed her.
