What I Know About Life

What I know about life,
Is as short as a fly's dick.
One minute everything is clicking,
Like a well tuned pocket watch.
The next,
It kicks you in the teeth.
Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, believe in your dreams,
Lies told to us as children.
The fat man is stuck in the chimney,
I had the rabbit for lunch,
And fairy-tale life is best left for storybooks.
Boyhood heros once up on pedestal,
Now up on charges for drugs and domestic violence.
Love is for people who have nothing better to do with their time,
Than to goo and gaa over a pollution caused sunset,
And waste the oxygen of someone more worthy.
Stupidity is now the majority,
And common sense is a diamond in the ruff.
Corruption, lieing, killing,
Is like a cancer of the global society.
The strong conqueor to meek,
Exploiting human and natural resources for self-gratification.
Temporarily forgetting the golden rule,
Back-stabbing on the climb up the corporate ladder,
Only to be told to piss off a year before retirement.
What do I know about life?
You're born.
You eek out a monotaneous boring life.
You pray for death.
That's what I've learned about life.
