Sword Of Truth
by Myself
Yea, thy name is Excalibur,
And thou art my sword of Truth.
It exposes all mine enemies,
For it carries the burden of my proof.

My blade shall reveal those,
Who shall rise up against us all.
Yet will not allow me to harm
Those innocent, to fall.

It seeks out those who try to win,
By false words and vicious tongue,
To gain the prize that they most seek,
The throne of which they long.

The sword shall glow from within,
Giving a grip of burning fire,
Having an anger to release,
Where Excalibur shall vent it's ire.

Excalibur is mine sword of Truth,
Not meant for an evil hand.
Destined to cast the Shadow away
From the peaceful land.

And
Elaine

I.
Dead, she drifted to his feet.
Tell us, Love, is Death so sweet?
Oh! The river floweth deep.
Fathoms deeper is her sleep.
Oh! The current driveth strong.
Wilder tides drive souls along.
Drifting, though he loved her not,
To the heart of Launcelot,
Let her pass; it is her place.
Death hath given her this grace.
Let her pass; she resteth well.
What her dreams are, who can tell?
Mute the steersman; why , if he
Speaketh not a word, should we?

II.
Dead, she drifteth to his feet.
Close, her eyes kept secrets sweet.
Living, he had loved her well.
High as Heaven and deep as Hell.
Yet that voyage she stayeth not.
Wait you for her, Launcelot?
Oh! the river floweth fast.
Who is justified at last?
Locked her lips are. Hush! If she
Sayeth nothing, how should we?
The Cave Of Treasure
by Myself
There is a cave of Treasure,
That lies deep in the forest dell.
Few have ever found it,
Or seen the Wonders within,
For the way is covered well.
--------
One knight did go that way,
Lost, and not in cheer.
An open cave lay there,
Almost calling out before him,
"See what lies in here."

The treasures that he saw,
Made him pleased he'd lost his trail.
He was sure he saw more wealth,
Than any man before him.
For he beheld the Holy Grail.

Yes it was! He could see,
A cup of solid gold.
Designed with ornate figures,
Cut delicately round the base,
It was a joy to take and hold!

Then he heard a sound, and turned,
To the entrance, where he saw
A giant rock had fallen into place.
No way out! There were skeletons
Of those who had been there, long before.

A woman appeared in front of him,
An Angelic vision, quite clear.
"Young knight", she said,
"If you seek the Grail,
"Then thou shall keep it here."
   --------
Remember if you see a cave,
Deep in a forest dell,
Think twice before you enter,
It may have many Wonders,
But can you exit...who can tell?
