2008 - here we come!
Before we left St Jean de Losne last year, we did a lot of work renovating le Colombier.She received a new floor, new salon linings, new cabinetry, a bright new bathroom, and overall repairs to the decks. All very s-w-i-s-h!
This year, Jeff goes over in early May to move her southwards, toward the med and the Midi, with mate harold enlisted as crew.
The rest of the family fly over in June, and we'll cruise the hot climes of the south until September-ish.

Bike from CDG to St Jean de Losne. Are you kidding? Actually no. Never a fan of rental cars, Jeff is planning to take a bike with him, and pedal 360km from Charles de Gaulle airport to St Jean de Losne. Via Meaux, Vitry le Francois and the towpath of the Marne a Saone canal. Stopping only at boulangeries, depots du vins and Decathlon stores. Free camping, and praying for no rain. It'll take around five days ("but i could walk it in that time" I hear you say) . At this stage, the hardest task is choosing a bike from his, umm, err, ever growing collection of classic 1980s lightweight steel-framed beauties. The Pinarello? One of the Peugeots? The Vitus? The Zeus? Ahhh, the exquisite agony of choice.
