| First off, thank you to everyone who sponsored her for the big event. She was 6th overall in sponsorships and quaifies for the classic this weekend! She was tied for second in her age group for the Longest Fish. She caught 3 total - 17 1/2", 19 1/", and 20 1/2". The lake was stocked the Wednesday before with 1000 pounds of catfish. For the classic they are stocking with 3-15 pounders. These she caught last weekend were already 2-3 pounders. We have bought a bigger net and are going to 25 pound test spiderline!!! She was so very excited about all 3 of her fish (and sorely dissapointed at the one that snapped her line and got away) and we'll be sending hard-copies to everyone who sponsored her!!! |

| UPDATE: We did attend the Invitational Classic in Lampasas - but alas, the weather change affected the fish. 127 kids attended, 1000 pounds of catfish released, and only 14 fish landed. Myryha did not catch one. But we'll try again in October at the Flower Mount KidFish! Again, thanks to all!!! |
